IFS Admit Card

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the IFS (Main) examination for ten days beginning from 26 November, 2023. The UPSC IFS Admit Card will be released soon by the UPSC. Candidates must provide the UPSC IFS Admit Card 2023 to enter the test venue; those who do not do so will be denied entry to the UPS IFS Recruitment 2023.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that admission cards for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main Examination 2023 will be available beginning 17 November, 2023. According to the notification, applicants will be able to get their admission cards from the official website - upsc.gov.in. The UPSC IFS Main Examination will be conducted on 26 November, 2023 in two sessions : 9.00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The Entrance to exam centres would be closed 30 minutes before the start of the examination, according the new UPSC instructions. Previously, candidates were permitted to attend the exam center 10 minutes before the exam.

Candidates must enter their login information in order to download the UPSC IFS Admit Card from the official website - upsc.gov.in. Once the Admit card is issued, candidates must carefully review it to avoid making any mistakes during the recruitment process. Candidates must bring a pintout of their Admit Card that clearly shows their face to the examination centre.

According to the official announcement, candidates should save their e-Admit cards until the final results of the UPSC IFS Main Test 2023 are announced, as no physical admit cards will be issued. The commission has recommended applicants to submit to errors in the e-Admit Card as soon as possible. candidates can fill grievances by emailing [email protected]

No electronic devices, such as mobile phones or smartwatches, are permitted in the exam hall, according to the exam guidelines.

Any candidate who is discovered to be breaking therules will face disciplinary action. A plain wristwatch, on the other hand, will be permitted.

Candidates should also bring a black point pen to fill out the attendance list. In addition, a printout of the e-Admit card, as well as a Photo ID card matching the ID Number on the e-Admit card, are required for access to the examination location. Canddiates will be denied entry to the examination if these documents are not produced.

Candidates must keep their admit cards until the UPSC IFS Results are announced and the selection process is completed.

How to download the UPSC IFS Mains Admit Card 2024?

Candidates must bring their UPSC IFS Admit Card to their exam centres else their access will be denied. To obtain the Admit Card 2024, Follow these simple steps:

Step 1 : Go to the official website - upsc.gov.in.

Step 2 : Click on the India Forest Service (Main) Examination 2024 Admit Card Notification Link.

Step 3 : After selecting it, on the new homepage, pick "Forgot Password" and input the requested information, such as the same mobile number or email ID used during online registration.

Step 4 : Reset your password and access your registration ID.

Points to Keep in Mind.

Note 1 : No Admission Certificate will be sent by post.

Note 2 : Check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC Immediately.

Note 3 : Bring this e-Admit Card in each session admission to the examination hall. e-Admit Card may be preserved till the declaration of written result as its production before Service Selection Boards is necessary.

Note 4 : You are responsible for the safe custody of the e-Admit Card and in the event of any other person using their e-Admit Card, the onus lies on you to prove that you have not use the service of an impersonator.

Note 5 : If you appear at the centre / sub-centre other than the one indicated by the Commission in your e-Admit Card, your answer scripts will not be evaluated and your candidature is liable to be cancelled.

Note 6 : Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admit card/ signatures on the Scannable Attendance Lists will have to bring a photo identify proof viz. Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter ID Card etc and three passport size photogaphs one for each session for appearing in the examination with an undertaking.
