The CBSE has declared the CTET 2024 exam date, CTET notification & application form for January, 2024 have been made available. on January 21, 2024 the CBSE CTET test will be held. The application fee for General / OBC Category for Paper I or II is Rs. 1000/- and for both the Paper I and II is Rs. 1200/-. For SC/ST/Diff. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam date. CTET 2024 Exam will be conducted on 14 December, 2024. CTET Exam 2024 has two papers in two shifts on new date. CTET Paper - II will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and Paper - I will take place in afternoon from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. CTET has issued a public notice that the orginial exam date was 15 December, 2024 & now it will be conducted on 14 December, 2024.
"It was notified vide this Office Notice No. CBSE/CTET/Dec./2024/e-73233/Revised dated 20.09.2024 that the 20th Edition of CTET Examination is scheduled on 15th December, 2024 (Sunday) instead of 01 December, 2024 in 136 cities in the country due to administrative reasons.
Now, as per the information received from various candidates, few competitive examinations are scheduled to be held in some state / union territories on 15 December, 2024 (Sunday). Hence, keeping in view the interest of the candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET Examination on 14th December, 2024 (Saturday). In case number of candidates is more in any city, the exam may also be conducted on 15th December, 2024 (Sunday)".
The online application process is already started from 17/09/2024. The last date for submitting online applications is 16/10/2024 (11:59 PM). The rest guidelines will remain same as mentioned in Information Bulletin.

This Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) consists of two papers. Candidates who choose the Paper-I will teach the Classes I to V whereas Paper-II for Classes VI to VIII. Aspirants can also apply for both the papers. The duration of each paper is two hours and thirty minutes. The exam consists of 150 objective-type questions.

The CTET Admit Card 2024 will be made available around two days before the exam. In order to take the CTET 2024 exam, candidates must first obtain their CTET admit Card 2024. The admit card is the most important document required to take the CTET examination. The CBSE has will released the CTET admit card on prior to the examination. The registered candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly to download CTET admit card.
Candidates need to enter their login credentials such as registration number or application number to download the CTET admit card. After download CTET admit card, candidates should check whether the details are correctly printed or not.
