The Objective of the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is to asses the candidate's aptitude for design involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity, communication, and problem solving skills.
CEED is conducted by IIT Bombay. It is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (M.Des) Programmes at IISC, Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIITDM Kancheepuram and Ph.D Programmes at several IITs and design schools. Quaifying in CEED alone does not guarantee admission to any of these programmes. Admitting institutes may conduct further tests and / or interviews for the final selection / admission.
Aspirants who have qualified GATE will also be considered for admission in M.Des programmes offered at IISc Bangalore and IIT Kanpur.
Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2025 has extended the online registration deadline till 18 November, 2024. Earlier, the last date for Online Registration with late fee was 08 November, 2024 & now it has been extended till 18 November, 2024 upto 5:00 PM. The CEED 2025 Exam has scheduled on 19 January, 2025 (Sunday) and the timings from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The CEED 2025 Draft answer key will be released on 21 January, 2025. Candidates will be having an opportunity to raise objections till 23 January, 2025 and final answer keys will be announced on 29 January, 2025. The CEED 2025 Result will be expected to be announced on 07 March, 2025.

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT - Bombay) has released the notification for the admission in the Common Entrance Examination for Design, populary known as CEED, 2025. The CEED 2025 Notification was released on 01 October, 2024 on the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates who are interested and eligible for CEED 2025 can start the registration process on the official website. The CEED 2025 Exam will be conducted on 19 January, 2025 (Sunday), From 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The CEED Examination will consist of two parts, PART A and PART B. Candidates must attempt questions from both the parts.

CEED 2025 online registration for CEED 2025 has started from 01 October, 2024 and it will end on 31 October, 2024. The CEED 2025 Exam will be conducted on 19 January, 2025 (Sunday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

NOTE : This registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The registration fee has to be paid through the payment option provided on the website while submitting the registration form. The online registration portal gives detailed instructions for payment of registration fees. Credit Card, Debit card and Net-Banking options are available. The registration fee shown above does NOT include service and other charges and the processing fees that the banks may levy.
The normal registration fee shown above is applicable till the regular closing date of registration i.e., 31 October, 2024 at 11:55 PM. A late fee of Rs. 500 applies to registrationsof all the candidates submitted after the regular closing date. This provision is available till 5:00 PM on 08 November, 2024.

Candidates must have completed a Degree / Diploma / Postgraduate Degree Programme of minimum of 3 years (10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July, 2025.

CEED Admit Cards will be available to download from the official website from the 03 January 2025 till the exam date. A candidate has to take a printout and it is mandatory to bring the admit card to the examination centre.
The examination consists of two parts, i.e.
Part A and Part B. A candidate has to attempt questions from both the parts compulsory. Part A will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and Part B from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Candidates should compulsorily choose THREE cities in the order of preference during the online registration. CEED 2025 Examination will be conducted in the following cities:

The purpose of the CEED 2025 question paper is to assess the candidate's logical reasoning, creativity, visual perception, artistic abilities, and communication skills. Remember that the CEED exam is similar to an aptitude test for design.

CEED 2025 Score Card will be available for download from 10 March, 2025. All the candidates who have appeared for the CEED 2025 can donwload the score card on the official website - www.ceed.iitb.ac.in through their respective logins. Score Card will NOT be available for downloading after 11 June, 2025. Hardcopy of the CEED Score Card will NOT be sent to any candidate.
PART - A marks will be displayed for ALL the candidates who have successfully appeared in the exam and PART - B marks will be displayed for ONLY shortlisted candidates. All shortlisted candidates will get a rank.
PART - B involves subjective evaluation and there is NO model solution. It is evaluated holistically based on a set of criteria mentioned in the question paper. The evaluated Answer Booklet for PART - B will not be shared with the candidate. Please note the there is NO provision for re-evaluation of Part A or Part B. Request for re-evaluation will NOT be entertained.
The CEED 2025 Score Card is valide for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result. The CEED 2025 Score Card cannot be treated as proof of date of birth, category or disability status. Answer booklets will be preserved ONLY for three months from the date of declaration of CEED results.

The last date to apply online for CEED is October 10. The last date to submit the applications with late fee is October 17.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, the organising institute, has released the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) result 2021 on March 8. Candidates who have appeared for the written exam held in January can access the CEED 2021 result and UCEED result 2021 on the official website - iitb.ac.in.
One should use their login credentials to download the CEED score 2021. It is advised to download the scorecard and keep the hard copy for future reference.

The application fee was increased from Rs 2600 to Rs 3200. The exam will be held in 24 cities across the country.
