Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) 2025 Exam will be conducted on 19 January, 2025 (Sunday) from 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon.
CEED 2025 Examination will consist of two papers, Part-A and Part-B. Candidates must attempt questions from both the parts. Part - A will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by Part - B from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The CEED 2025 Exam uses English as a medium of Instruction.

CEED Part A Test Pattern
Part A consists of objective three types: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), and Multiple Select Question (MSQ). Candidates need to attempt CEED Part A exam on a computer. Questions asked in this section are from topics such as visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation and design sensitivity.
CEED Part B Test Pattern
Part B of CEED paper comprises of questions to test an aspirant's design, drawing and writing skills. Part B exam questions are displayed on a computer screen and candidates need to solve them on an answer booklet provided by the invigilator.
There are 8 questions in Part B exam. The marking scheme is such that question number 1-5 in the exam are of 50 marks each and candidates have a choice to attempt any one of these questions.
Note: Part A of CEED 2025 will be considered as a screening exam. Thus, students who have been shortlisted in this test will be evaluated for Part B of the exam. However, only the scores of candidates in Part B will be used to prepare the merit list for CEED 2025.
Please take note that the PART B Answer booklet will only be reviewed in the event that the candidate fulfills the CEED 2025 PART - A Cut-off.

The first section of CEED test will be computer-based on comprise MCQ, MSQ, and NAT Objective-type questions. Part A lasts for an hour in total. There will be design aptitude-style questions that assess the candidate's visual and spatial aptitude, linguistic proficiency, observational skills, logical and analytical thinking, environmental and social awareness, and design sensitivity.

Five questions in Part B of the CEED 2025 exam will assess the candidate's design, drawing and writing abilities.
Candidates must complete the question in CEED Part B on a computer screen using an answer booklet that the invigilator will supply.
To confirm that you have provided a identical response, the candidate must check the relevant box on the computer screen. Answer books for Part B will be gathered after the test.

The final CEED score of candidates is determined by giving 25% weightage to marks obtained by candidates in Part A and 75% weightage to marks obtained in CEED Part B exam.
NOTE:
The CEED 2025 score card is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result. The CEED 2025 score card cannot be treated as a proof of date of birth, category or disability status.
Reporting time: Candidates should report at the examination centre at 7:00 AM on Sunday, 19 January, 2025 along with a printout of the CEED 2025 Admit Card. This is required to record the biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) before appearing for the examination.
Identity Proof: Candidates should bring a valid photo (original) and the Admit Card to the examination centre. Candidates will not be entertained to the examination centre without a proper identity proof (college issued identity card, passport, driving license, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhar Card or printed e-Aadhar card).
Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, smart or digital watches and the like are NOT Allowed in the examination hall. The use of any electronic gadget will disqualify the candidature.
