Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), a Public Central University, is regarded as one of India's top-ranked institutions for Postgraduate and Research Studies and has been granted the designation of "University of Excellence" by the UGC

In addition, the University became India's first to offer foreign language classes as part of its Integrated MBA Programme. Under the Ministry of Education, the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET UG) - 2025 is being implemented for admission into all UG Programs in all Central Universities for the Academic Session 2025-26. The Common University Entrance Exam (CUET) will give applicants nationwide, especially those from rural and other remote places, a uniform platform and equitable chance, and it will also improve relationships between applicants and universities.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University adopted Common University Entrance Test for admission to the candidates in undergraduates, postgraduates courses, postgraduates diploma and advanced diploma courses. The score of JNU CUET is accepted by all the 14 Schools under JNU.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Scores will be used for admission into UG Programmes in all Central Universities / Participating Universities for Academic Session 2025-26. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas, and help establish better connections with the Universities. A single Examination will enable the candidates to cover to vide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.
NOTE : M.Phil course will not be offered this year due to the National Educational Policy 2020's proposal to eliminate the programme.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released to Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 registration form on the official website - cuet.nta.ac.in.
Candidates who are interested can start submitting the CUET UG 2025 application form from 01 March to 22 March, 2025 till 11:50 PM. The CUET UG 2025 Exam will be conducted between 08 May to 01 June, 2025 (Tentatively).

The JNU CUET UG 2025 Application fee will be submitted online.
Candidates may choose upto a maximum of five (05) subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test. Fees will be calculated based on the number of subjects chosen by the candidates. Candidates must pay using SBI / Syndicate / Paytm Payment Portal using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI. The following fee structures is applicable for CUET (UG) - 2025:

Here are the steps to fill out the form:
1. Visit the JNU website - cuet.nta.nic.in
2. Click the "Online Registration" link and input your email address and mobile number.
3. Fill out the application form with information such as your name, education and residence.
4. Now, Provide photos of your photo and signature in the format specified.
5. Submit the application cost online according to the course.
6. After reviewing the information, submit the application form.
7. Take a physical copy of the form and keep it safe during the admissions process.

For B.A. (Hons) 1st year:
Qualifications: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 level exam or an equivalent test from any board that has gained recognition in order to be eligible.
Percentage: Candidates must obtain at least 45% in the qualifying exams.
Age Limit: The candidates must be 17 years old as of 01 October, 2025. There will be no age restrictions for any other programs.
Appearing: Candidates who sit for their final test in 2024 will be eligible to apply to JNU.
The following are the complete details about the JNU CUET UG Exam Pattern 2025.
Exam Mode: The exam will be administered online (Computer Based Test).
Duration: The exam will be held over several days, with three slots each.
Medium: Only English will be offered for the exam.
Types of Questions: The test will be made up of multiple choice questions.
Number of Questions: The exam will consist of 100 Questions.
Marking Scheme: One Mark will be granted for each right response.
Negative Marking: The exam will have no negative marking.
The JNU Syllabus 2025 will be determined by the course chosen by the candidates when they fill out their application form. The JNU CUET UG 2025 Syllabus for UG Courses will include topics from Class 11th & 12th. To prepare, candidates must read the books from Classes 11 & 12.
The JNU Admit Card 2025 will be announced in the first week of May, 2025. The authority will only release the admission card online. It will include information such as the candidate's name, time, address, roll number, exam date, reporting time, and other test related instructions.
The administration will not send the admission card to enrolled candidates via post or any other offline manner. Candidates are encouraged to keep a hard copy of their admit card on the day of the examination.
The authorities would make the JNU CUET Answer Key 2025 available online for various programs on its website. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exams will have access to answer key. Candidates will be able to receive subject-specific answer keys in PDF format.
Canddiates will also have the ability to object to the answer key if they have any doubts. The authority will publish the final answer key after reviewing all of the objections raised.
The administration will announce the JNU CUET Result 2025 online. It will be published on the website during the second week of July, 2025.
