How to Apply For JNUEE / JNU CUET

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programs in Central, State, Private, and Deemed Universities across India.

It provides a single-window opportunity for students to secure admission based on merit. 

The CUET UG 2025 application process is complete online, and candidates must register within the specified dates. To avoid errors, it is essential to follow the application guidelines carefully. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for CUET UG 2025:

How to Apply for CUET-UG 2025

Step 1 : Visit the Official Website

• Go to the official CUET website - cuet.nta.nic.in.
• Click on the "CUET UG 2025 Registration Link.

Step 2 : Register Yourself

Candidates has to register for the online application form and note down the system-generated application number. The candidate should submit the required details while filling the online application form and is also required to create PASSWORD and choose security Question and enter his / her answer. After successful submission of the candidate details, an Application Form and will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining steps of the application form and will also be future reference / correspondence. The candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system-generated Application Number and created Password.

• Click on "New Registration" and the instructions carefully.
• Enter personal details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
• Create a password and security question for future login
• After submitting the details, an Application Number will be generated.

Step 3 : Fill out the Application Form

• Log in with the Application Number and Password.
• Enter Personal details, category, educational qualifications, and contact information.
• Choose the courses and universities you wish to apply for.
• Select exam centers (up to four preferred cities).

Step 4 : Upload Required Documents

• Photograph : Recent passport size photo (10 KB to 200 KB)
• Signature : Scanned Signature (4 KB - 30 KB).
• Category / PwD Certificate (if applicable) : (50 KB to 300 KB)

Step 5 : Pay the Application Fee

• Pay the fee online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI.
• The application fee varies based on the number of subjects and category.

Step 6 : Submit & Download Confirmation Page

• After successful payment, review the form and submit it.
• Download and print the Confirmation Page for future reference.

JNUEE / JNU CUET (UG) - 2025 Application Fee 

Candidates may choose upto a maximum of five (05) subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test. Fees will be calculated based on the number of subjects chosen by the candidates. Candidates should pay the prescribed application fee to complete the CUET UG registration 2025. The application fee should be paid through Debit/Credit/Net Banking/UPI/Paytm Services. The following fee structure is applicable for CUET UG - 2025:

*Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website - ncbc.nic.in. Only the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. State list OBC candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General / Unreserved.

Important Notes

1. Apply before the last date to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Ensure all details are correct, as modifications may not be allowed after submisison.

3. Keep a copy of the confirmation page and fee receipt.
