West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Exam

WBJEEB will conduct a one-time OMR-based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE-2025) for admisison to Undergraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture for the 2025-26 academic session in various universities and institutes across West Bengal.

Candidates have to appear for both papers – Paper-I (Mathematics) and Paper-II (Physics & Chemistry-combined) for engineering and technology. One who appears only for Paper-II will get admission only in the pharmacy courses. Aspirants have to note that the architecture admissions will be provided through NATA and medical admissions will be made through NEET UG, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). 

WBJEE 2025 Application correction window closes on 27 February, 2025

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will close the application correction window process for WBJEE 2025 on 27 February, 2025. Candidates who have registered for the WBJEE 2025 exam can make corrections on their applications by visiting the offical website - wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE 2025 online application process started on 22 January, 2025 & the last date was on 23 February, 2025 and now the correction window is opened on 27 February, 2025.

The WBJEE 2025 exam will be conducted on 27 April, 2025 and the exam will be held in two shifts. Paper I : Mathematics from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM & Paper II : Physics & Chemistry from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility

Candidates who are attending for the WBJEE 2025 must have to meet the all the eligibility requirements set by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board in order to apply for the WBJEE 2025.

Candidate must be a citizen of India and should not be less than 17 years of age. There is no upper age limit for WBJEE. However, the upper age limit is 25 years for Marine Enigneering Course.

• For Engineering: Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of chemistry/biotechnology/biology/computer science/computer application/technical vocational subject as a compulsory subject. 
• For Pharmacy: Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology as compulsory subjects.

WBJEE 2025 Registration

Input your name, date of birth, father's name, mobile number, and other pertinent information.

Upon successful registration, the login credentials will be emailed to the registered email address.

Enter your credentials to login and complete the application.

Upload the files in the format that has been requested.

The online application fee can be paid offline or online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking account.

WBJEE Application Fee

The WBJEE application fee can be paid either in cashless mode by Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card or UPI Only.

• Application Fee - INR 500 + GST for General Candidates
• Application Fee - INR 400 + GST for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B

Allocation of the examination centre will be based on the choices given by the candidate during the online form fill-up. However, the discretion of the Board in the allocation of the examination centre shall be final. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under any circumstances.

The fee once paid it not refundable under any circumstance.

Do not wait for the last day to pay registration fees to avoid payment failure by bank.

WBJEE Application Form Correction 2025?

The authorities will give candidates one more opportunity to alter their WBJEE application form after the application procedure is finished. The WBJEE 2025 Application form correction facility will be available online by the authorities. Until the designated time, candidates may make changes to their application forms. All fields on the application form will be editable by the candidates, with the exception of name, mother's, father's and birthdate.

WBJEE Admission Through JEE Main 

A total of 10% of seats are reserved for students' merit list in JEE Main in all the Self-Financed Engineering & Technology Colleges of West Bengal. Candidates should note that the allotment will be purely based on the merit and preference of students through counselling conducted by WBJEEB. 

WBJEE 2025 Exam Pattern 

Aspirants should know the paper pattern of the exam to crack. The exam pattern will provide all the key details, such as duration, number of questions, sections, etc. WBJEE is an offline exam that comprises multiple-choice questions. There will be two papers in WBJEE -  Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry combine). Candidates who appear only for Paper I will not get any rank. 

All questions will be in Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), with four options against each question. There will be three categories of questions in each subject. The number of questions as well as maximum marks for each are given in the following table:

WBJEE Admit Card 2025

The WBJEEB will release the WBJEE admit card on April 17  to 27, 2025 till 2:00 PM.

The WBJEE 2025 admit card is a vital document for candidates appearing in the exam on 27th April, 2025. The registered candidates can visit the official website of WBJEE to download the admit card, which is a necessary document to take the examination. The admit card includes essential details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam center, date and instructions. Candidates must verify all details for accuracy and contact authorities for corrections if needed. Carrying the admit card along with a valid photo ID  to the exam center is mandatory. District-wise List of Examination Zone for WBJEE - 2025

a) Candidates from West Bengal, Assam and Tripura must select any three zones from the above list in order of their preference.

b) Candidates from other state must select any three zone from the following.

Note: Any examination zone may be dropped in unavoidable circumstances.Discretion of the board shall be final in this regard.

WBJEE Answer Key 2025

The organising board, WBJEEB, will release the WBJEE answer key within a month after conducting the exam.The WBJEE answer key will be available only on the official website.The board will also accept the challenges against the final answer key.Candidates need to pay INR 500 per question plus the bank's service charges.   

WBJEE Result 2025

The WBJEEB will announce the WBJEE result in May 2025 (Tentative).The results will be available in the form of a rank card.One should enter their login ID and password to check the WBJEE 2025 result.Candidates will find all the details about the score and paper in their rank card.
