CBSE has released a notification for the 20th edition of the CTET.
The entrance exam is going to be conducted twice a year for teaching positions from class 1 to 8 in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya, Central Tibetan Schools and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya besides schools under the administrative control of the union territories (UTs).
CTET 2026 Syllabus:
The CBSE CTET Exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 & Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for teachers in Classes 1 to 5, and the CTET Paper 2 is for teachers in Classes 6 to 8. The CTET 2026 Syllabus comprises section-by-section subjects for both examinations, from which questions in the test are asked.
