The Indian Post & Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service (IP&TAFS) is civil service or a competitive exam in India conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) India.
The exam is held for the recruitment of Department of Telecom & Department of Posts in India. The Indian Post & Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service is a Group "A" Central Civil Services of the Union of India. Union Public Commission Service (UPSC) has released the notification for CSE Indian Post & Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service (IP&TAFS) on 22 Januarym 2025. Candidates who are eligible can start submitting the CSE IP&TAFS 2025 application form on the official website from 22 January, 2025 to 11 February, 2025. The CSE IP&TAPS 2025 Preliminary exam on 25 May, 2025 and the Mails will be conducted in a Pen and Paper-Based Test mode on 22, 23, 24, 30 & 31 August, 2025. As per the UPSC CSE IP&TAFS Exams Schedule 2025, the exam will be held in two session every day. A candidate should fulfill any of the following criteria :
Candidate belonging to categories any of the (2), (3), (4) and (5) categories should provide eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
Ex-servicemen eligibility:
The term ex-servicemen will apply to the persons who are defined as ex-servicemen in the Ex-servicemen. The age concession will not be admissible to Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers including ECOs/SSCOs, who are released on own request.
The educational requirement of the candidates meet the following criteria for enrolment:
A candidate should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have completed the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.

SC, ST and OBC who are also covered under other clauses mentioned above will be eligible for grant of cumulative age-relaxation under both the categories.
