The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the central recruiting agency for shortlisting candidates to various services of the Union and the services of the state. The major responsibility of the Commission is to scrutinise candidates for the All India Services comprising three prestigious services – Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
Every year, the Commission releases the UPSC calendar for all examinations. Candidates who are aspiring for the Central services can check the UPSC exam dates before the release of notification. The central recruiting agency also releases the UPSC time table that includes the date of notification, last date for receipt of applications, date of commencement of exam and duration of the exam.
The UPSC has released the revised programme of examinations/recruitment tests 2021. The Commission held a special meeting on June 5 and released a revised exam schedule. The new exam dates were announced for NDA & NA (I), Civil Services (Prelims), IES/ISS, Combined Geo-Scientist, Engineering Service (Mains), Combined Medical Services, CAPF (AC), NDA & NA (II) and IFS Main exam 2021.
