The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) refers to the uniform nomenclature of seven security forces in India under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs. They are the Assam Rifles (AR), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Security Guard (NSG), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The UPSC has released the CAPF final result 2019. Candidates who have appeared for all the phases of the selection process can check their CAPF AC result 2019 on the official website. The CAPF final result 2019 was available in pdf format.
The UPSC has released the CAPF Assistant Commandant (AC) recruitment notification for a total of 209 vacancies. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Commission can apply online for the Assistant Commandant posts. Interested aspirants can apply online for CAPF AC until September 7, 2020.

Aspirants should note that the number of vacancies mentioned above is liable to alteration. The reservation will be given as per policy of the Govt. 10% of the vacancies are earmarked for ex-servicemen.
In case the vacancies reserved for Ex-servicemen remain unfilled due to nonavailability of eligible or qualified candidates, the same shall be filled by candidates from non ex-servicemen category.

All the eligible candidates should pay the application fee prescribed by the UPSC. The application fee is INR 200, which can be deposited in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card. Some candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST are exempted from paying the application fee. One should note that all the female candidates are also exempted from the application fee.
The written examination for the CAPF Assistant Commandant will be held at the below-listed examination centres. The allotment of the test centres will be based on the ''first-apply-first-allot.''
No person who is not a citizen of India shall, except with the consent of the Central Government signified in writing be appointed or employed under these Rules.
Provided that nothing contained in these rules shall debar the appointment, enrolment or employment of a subject of Nepal or Bhutan under these Rules.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants.

The UPSC has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for candidates who have qualified in the written exam. Candidates should enter all the mandatory fields to complete the CAPF DAF application form.
The CAPF AC DAF form will be available from February 12 to 25, 2021. Earlier, the written exam result was declared on February 8, 2021. The final result will be released in the last week of April.12 February 2021
The UPSC has released the CAPF 2020 written exam result. Candidates who have appeared for the written examination can check their result on the official website - upsc.gov.in.
The qualified candidates will be called for Physical Standards Test/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. A total of 1287 candidates qualified in the written exam.
ITBP, the nodal authority nominated by MHA, will communicate with candidates regarding the PST/PET and Medical Standards Tests. The application forms will be available between February 12 and 25, 2021 till 6 pm.9 February 2021
The UPSC has released the CAPF Assistant Commandant (AC) final result 2019. Candidates who have appeared for the interview round from November 2 to 27, 2020, can visit the official website to check their result.
A total of 264 candidates have been shortlisted for the appointment. A total of 68 candidates are provisional. The Commission will soon communicate with candidates individually regarding an appointment.5 February 2021
The UPSC has released the CAPF Assistant Commandant admit card 2020. One should enter their login credentials to download CAPF admit card 2020 from the official website - upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC CAPF AC 2020 admit card consists of all the information regarding the personal along with venue details. One can download the CAPF admit card till the exam date, i.e., December 20.25 November 2020
The UPSC has released the CAPF 2019-20 interview schedule for the remaining shortlisted candidates. The CAPF exam interview 2019-20 will be conducted from November 16 to 20 and 22 to 25, 2020. The personality rounds will be held in two shifts forenoon and afternoon.
Candidates can download the UPSC CAPF call letters from the official site. The CAPF interview will be held at the UPSC headquarters at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The Commission will reimburse the airfare of candidates appearing for the UPSC CAPF interview 2019-20 because the train services are not fully functional yet.21 October 2020
