The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has released the admit cards for the ISC class 12 and ICSE class 10 examinations. According to the sources, the Board has sent the admit cards to the affiliated schools across the country through the post. It has also sent the user id to download the hall ticket.
The ICSE class 10 examinations will be conducted between February 22 and March 25, 2019. The ISC class 12 examinations will be held between February 2 and March 25, 2019.
The major development in 2019 is that students will get a second chance to pass the examination. The board will conduct the compartmental examinations for candidates who fail in ISC and ICSE examination. The compartmental examination will be held shortly after the announcement of the board result.
Around 80,000 students are expected to appear for the ISC exam and approximately 75,000 students will appear for the ISC 2019 examination.
The Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination is overseen and managed by the Council for the Indian School Certification Examination (CISCE). The examination is only available in English medium; it is conducted for students who have already appeared and cleared two years of academics after clearing the ICSE or an equivalent Class 10 board examination. Students can pick three, four or five elective subjects under the ISC board; however, English is compulsory. It is also important to note that a student cannot sit for more than six subject exams, including English. Students also need to secure a passing grade in Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service to be able to attend the exam.
