  • Whether examination has negative marking?

    Yes, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

  • What do you mean by sectional cut off?

    Sectional cut off means candidate is required to clear every section in order to secure a seat for the Interview. IBPS PO examination has sectional cutoff. 

  • What is the cut-off for IBPS PO recruitment?

    There is no fixed cut-off. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year.

  • Is it a bilingual exam?

    Yes, except the English language test as the other tests are conducted bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

  • Can I appear for the exam with 55% graduation score?

    Yes, you can appear as there is no specifications regarding the percentage but should have completed the graduation.

  • What is the fee to apply for the exam?

     It is Rs 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs 600/- for all others.

  • What is the educational qualification required to apply for various posts in the recruitment process?

    Candidate should hold a graduation degree in any discipline from any university, recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government is required.

    Besides, the candidate should have a valid degree certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering online.

  • Is there any age relaxation given?

    Yes, there is age relaxation available based on the category. 

  • What is the age limit to apply?

    Candidate should be minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years to apply for the post.

    The vacancies depend on the number of people required in the participating banks each year.
