Indian Trade Service (ITS) is a group A civil service, which was created in 1965. It was created as a specialised cadre to handle India's international trade & commerce. The ITS is controlled by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has official released the notification for CSE Indian Trade Service (ITS) Preliminary Exam 2025 on 22 January, 2025. The CSE ITS 2025 Application window is open from 22 January, 2025 and the last date to submit the application form is 11 February, 2025. The UPSC ITS 2025 Preliminary Exam will take place on 25 May, 2025 and Main Exam will be held on 22, 23, 24, 30 & 31 August, 2025 (5 Days). The CSE Indian Trade Service exam will be held in two session every day. UPSC ITS Forenoon (Morning) Session will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and the 2nd Session (Afternoon) will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
