SO Examination Pattern 2025

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) SO is a three -tier exam therefore - Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and followed by a Personal Interview.  The online examination for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selection of personnel in Specialist Officers’ cadre posts is held by IBPS. IBPS will conduct an online examination for the post. IBPS CWE Specialist Officer exam pattern includes 4 subjects for every post.

IBPS Specialist Officer Common Written exam is an objective type paper which includes 4 sections of different marks. All participants required to qualify in all sections and for every wrong answer you must lose some marks as negative marking and time duration of paper is 02 hours. A candidate has to qualify in each of the following three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination
