Annually, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will release the notification for the recruitment of Specialist Officer (SO) in the participating banks. The selection of the candidates will be made through an online written examination followed by an interview. The online written examination consists of two stages – preliminary and main. In order to appear for the online examination, candidates should have a valid admit card.
IBPS SO admit card will be available only on the official website. To download the IBPS SO admit card, applicants need to submit their details, such as registration/roll number and date of birth/password. Aspirants should also note that the IBPS will not send any admit card to the correspondence address. It is the duty of candidates to download the admit card and carry the copy of the same to the exam centre.
The organising body, IBPS has released the SO recruitment notification for a total of 1599 vacancies. The posts of the SO include Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari. It will conduct the Specialist Officer (SO) preliminary examination on December 28 and 29, 2019. However, the SO main exam will be conducted on January 25, 2020.
The admit card for the preliminary exam will be available from December 14, 2019. Candidates need to download the IBPS SO preliminary 2019 admit card from the official website. However, IBPS will release the main examination admit card in the second week of January 2020.
Candidates should note that along with the IBPS SO admit card, they should also carry a valid original identity proof such as Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License and Aadhaar card. One should also carry a photocopy of the same identity proof. A photograph same as uploaded in the application form is required.
