Combined Geo-Scientist Exam
CGSE Selection Procedure
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2025 Notification on 04 September, 2024 on the official website - upsc.gov.in. UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Preliminary Exam will be conducted on 09 February, 2025 and the UPSC CGSE Mains Examination will be held on the 21st & 22nd June, 2025 for the recruitment of CGSE 2025.
Selection will be made through Written Examination, Personality Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is as follows:

NOTE: No Vacancies for PwBD Category Candidates have been reported by the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Gange Rejuvenation.
- The number of vacancies mentioned above may be altered in the future. Appointments will be made on a temporary basis in the first instance. Reservations will be made for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and person with benchmark disability categories.
