Every year, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination (CGGE) to shortlist the candidates for the posts such as Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Junior Hydrogeologists. The mentioned posts are in the Geology Survey of India under the Ministry of Mines and Central Ground Water Board under Ministry of Water Resources.
The UPSC releases the CGGE notification in the month of March and accepts the online applications until the last week of April. The Commission is also responsible for issuing Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination admit card. After the CGGE admit card was released, aspirants should check all the details whether they are printed correctly or not. The most important details one should check on the CGGE admit card are listed below.
Candidates need to carry the hard copy of the CGGE admit card along with a valid photo identity card issued by the Central or State government for the verification purpose.
