Admit Card

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination twice in a year in the months of April and November. Candidates have to appear for the written examination followed by an SSB interview. In order to appear for the NDA written test, candidates should possess a valid admit card. Without a UPSC NDA admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall.

NDA Admit Card 2020 Released 

The UPSC has released the NDA admit card 2020 for both 1 and 2. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment examination are advised to visit the official website to download NDA admit card 2020. This year, the Commission has released NDA admit card 1 and 2 at a time. It has decided to conduct the NDA exam on September 6 for both NDA 1 and NDA 2 due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic. 

The UPSC NDA admit card 2020 will be available on official site between August 10 and September 6 (exam date). Candidates can download NDA admit card by using their roll number or registration number. In case of any issue while downloading e-admit card for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I) and (II), 2020, aspirants can send an e-mail: usnda-upsc@nic.in

NDA Admit Card 1 (I) – 2020 

The UPSC will conduct the NDA & NA (I) 2020 on September 6. The online applications will be accepted between January 8 and 28, 2020. The NDA admit card 1 will be released online during the first week of April 2020. The admit card was delayed and released in August. Candidates have to use their login details such as registration number or roll number to access the UPSC admit card for NDA.

Note: Aspirants should note that NDA admit card 2020 likely to be delayed due to ongoing lockdown in the country because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID2019). It is advised to check the official website regularly for latest updates. 

NDA Admit Card 2 (II) – 2020

The Commission conducts the NDA (II) 2020 exam on September 6. Aspirants who have successfully submitted their applications can download NDA admit card from the official website.

How To Download NDA Admit Card?

  • Log on to the official website of UPSC – www.upsc.gov.in 
  • Click on the ''Admit Card'' section or direct link in ''What’s New.'' 
  • Click on the e-Admit Card: National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination
  • Then click on the ''Click Here'' option
  • Enter the registration/roll number, date of birth and image code and submit
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download admit card for NDA and take a printout of the same for future reference.

What To Carry On NDA Exam Day? 

Candidates should take a printout of the NDA admit card and carry the same to the examination centre on the test day. Along with the admit card, candidates should also carry the passport size photograph and a valid photo identity card for verification purpose. Some of the accepted identity cards for verification are.

Error In NDA Admit Card 

In case of any discrepancy in NDA admit card, candidates should communicate the same to the exam authorities. Candidate can write an email to Commission regarding the issue.

SSB Admit Card For NDA 

After qualifying in the NDA written exam and obtaining the required cut-off, candidates will be shortlisted for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. Candidates will be issued with the SSB call letters and they should report at the communicated address.
