The Union Public Services Commission, popularly known as UPSC, has released the Admit Card for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 Preliminray Stage. Commonly referred to as Indian Engineering Services (IES), this prestigious exam will be held on June 8, 2025, across more than 42 designated cetners nationwide.
Registered candidates are advised to visit the official UPSC website - upsc.gov.in - and download their ESE 2025 Preliminary Admit Card at the earliest. The admit card an essential document and must be retained by the candidate until the entire recruitment process concludes.
The UPSC conducts the ESE exam in three phases - Prelims, Mains and the Personality Test - to recruit engineers for technical roles in various departments of the Government of India. Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Exam on June 8, 2025, will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination Scheduled on August 10, 2025.

The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination.
2025 on 8th June, 2025 (Sunday) all over India. The Commission has uploaded the e-Admit Cards of the admitted candidates on its website - https://upsconline.gov.in). The candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Cards and take a printout. e-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results of the Engineering Services Examination, 2025. No Paper Admit Card will be issued for this Examination. "Important Instructions to the candidates" appended with the e-Admit Card must be read carefully by the Candidates.
The candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Card at the alloted Venue for appearing at the Examination. A candidate, who does not produce his / her e-Admit Card for checking at the allotted Venue, shall not allowed to take the examination. The candidates are also required to carry along the Photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for appearing at each session of the Examination.

Aspirants have to carry the IES admit card to the exam hall along with a valid photo ID card. The accepted photo identity proofs are Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.
In case the photograph is visible or available on the e-admit card of the Engineering Services Exam (ESE), candidates have to carry two identical photographs (one photograph for each session) to the examination centre.
