Indian Engineering Services (IES) Admit Card Preliminary 2025
The Union Public Services Commission, popularly known as UPSC, has released the Admit Card for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 Preliminray Stage. Commonly referred to as Indian Engineering Services (IES), this prestigious exam will be held on June 8, 2025, across more than 42 designated cetners nationwide.
Registered candidates are advised to visit the official UPSC website - upsc.gov.in - and download their ESE 2025 Preliminary Admit Card at the earliest. The admit card an essential document and must be retained by the candidate until the entire recruitment process concludes.
The UPSC conducts the ESE exam in three phases - Prelims, Mains and the Personality Test - to recruit engineers for technical roles in various departments of the Government of India. Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Exam on June 8, 2025, will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination Scheduled on August 10, 2025.
Caniddates must thoroughly check all details printed on the e-admit card. In case of any discrepancies, they should immediately contat the Commission. It is also important note that no physical copies of the admit card will be sent via post - the admit card must be download online only.
Lastly, aspirants are reminded to carry a valid photo ID along with the printed admit card on the day of the exam. The admit card will also be required for checking results and should be preserved until the final selection process is completed. UPSC ESE Admit Card 2025 - Based on UPSC Notice
The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination.
2025 on 8th June, 2025 (Sunday) all over India. The Commission has uploaded the e-Admit Cards of the admitted candidates on its website - https://upsconline.gov.in). The candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Cards and take a printout. e-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results of the Engineering Services Examination, 2025. No Paper Admit Card will be issued for this Examination. "Important Instructions to the candidates" appended with the e-Admit Card must be read carefully by the Candidates.
The candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Card at the alloted Venue for appearing at the Examination. A candidate, who does not produce his / her e-Admit Card for checking at the allotted Venue, shall not allowed to take the examination. The candidates are also required to carry along the Photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for appearing at each session of the Examination.

Steps To Download Indian Engineering Services (IES) Admit Card 2025
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC – www.upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Examinations’ tab.
Step 3: In the examinations section, click on 'Active Examinations'.
Step 4: There will be a link for 'Engineering Services Examination 2025'.
Step 5: Click on IES admit card 2025 in the page.
Step 6: The IES admit card page will be displayed.
Step 7: Click 'Yes' on the Instructions page.
Step 8: Enter the Registration ID/Roll Number and other details.
Step 9: Click on the “Submit” button to view the IES admit card.
Step 10: Download and take a printout of the IES admit card 2025.

Technical Instructions For Downloading IES Admit Card
- Admit card application is best suitable on latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox Browsers.
- Javascript should be enabled on your browser.
- Do not use mobile or other gadgets for downloading e-admit card. Preferably use Windows OS on Desktop Machine.
- If you are having the problem in downloading e-admit card using suggested browsers, then clear the cache and cookies of a browser using browser setting. In case if you are still unable to download the e-admit card then please try to download the admit card using another computer machine.
- If the candidate is blocked by the server in case of repetitive downloading, please contact UPSC Administrator immediately through e-mail: [email protected] to unblock the downloading.
What To Carry Along With IES Admit Card
Aspirants have to carry the IES admit card to the exam hall along with a valid photo ID card. The accepted photo identity proofs are Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.
Image Error In Engineering Services Admit Card
In case the photograph is visible or available on the e-admit card of the Engineering Services Exam (ESE), candidates have to carry two identical photographs (one photograph for each session) to the examination centre.
They should also carry proof of identity such as a Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport and Driving Licence.
