UPSC CDS (II) Final Result 2025 Out
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Final Merit List for the Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination (II), 2024 on 23 May, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for the UPSC CDS (II) Exam 2024 can check the results on the official website - upsc.gov.in. A Total of 574 candidates of 510 men and 64 women have successfully qualified for the admission to the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

The following are the lists, in order of merit, in respect of 574 (*510+^64) candidates who have finally qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024 conducted by the Union Pubic Service Commission and Interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the (i) *Officers Training Academy, Chennai for 122nd Short Service Commission Course (NT) (UPSC) (For Men) and (ii) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 36th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course, Commencing in October, 2025. The list of 122nd Short Service Commission Course (NT) (UPSC) (For Men) also includes the names of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of the result of the same examination for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) (Training Course(s).

UPSC CDS (I) Result 2025
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I) 2025 Result on 28 April, 2025. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can check their qualifying status on the official website - upsc.gov.in. Total of 8516 candidates have cleared the written examination have shortlisted for the next stage for SSB Interview.

On the basis of results of the COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (I), 2025 held by the Union Public Service Commission on 13th April, 2025, 8516 candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for being interviewed by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, for admission to (i) Indian Miliatry Academy, Dehradun 160th (DE) Course commence in January, 2026 (ii) Indian Navy Academy , Ezhimala, Kerala, Course Commencing in January, 2026 (iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (219 F(P) commencing in January, 2026 (iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 123rd SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course Commencing in April, 2026 and (v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 37th SSC Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course Commencing in April, 2026.
The Candidature of all the candidates, whose Roll Numbers are shown in the lists below, is provisional. In accordance with the conditions of the admissions to the examination, they are required to submit the original certificates in support of age (Date of Birth), Educational Qualifications, NCC (C) (Army Wing / Senior Division Air Wing / Naval Wing) etc. claimed by them to IHQ of MoD (Army) / Dte Gen of Rtg (Rtg A) CDSE Entry for SSC male candidates and SSC Women entry for female candidates West Block III, R.K.
Puram, New Delhi - 110006 incase of IMA / SSC First choice candidates and IHQ of MoD (Navy DMPR (OI & R Section) Room No. 204, 'C' Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi - 110011 in case of Navy first choice candidates.
PO3 (A) / Air Headquarters 'J' Block, Room NO. 17, Opp. Vayu Bhawan, Motilal Nehru Marg, New Delhi - 110106 incase of Air Force First Choice candidates by the following dates failling which their candidature will stand cancelled. The original certificates are to be submitted not later than 01st January, 2026 for IMA & INA, not later than 13th Nombember, 2025 for AFA and not later than 1st April, 2026 in case of SSC Course only. THe candidates must not send the original Certificate to the Union Public Service Commission.

UPSC CDS (II) Final Result 2024 Announced
Union Public Service Commission has announced the Combined Defence Services (CDS) II Examination Final Result 2025 on 25 March, 2025. Candidates who had appeared for the UPSC CDS (II) Exam can check & download their results on the official website - upsc.gov.in. Therefore, 349 candidates have been qualified in the CDS (II) Exam.

In order of merit of 349 (223+89+37) candidates who have qualified on the basis of the results of Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) II, 2024 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in September, 2024 and SSB Interview held by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the 159th (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course i.e.
No. 218 F(P) Course.
There are some common candidates in the three lists for various courses.
The number of vacancies, as intimated by the Government is 100 for Indian Military Academy (Including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificates (Army Wing Holders), 32 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala Executive Branch (General Service) / Hydro (including 06 vacancies for NCC 'C' Certificate (Naval Wing) holders) and 32 for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (03 vacancies are reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Spl.Entry).
UPSC CDS 2024 Final Merit List Out
The Union Public Service Commission has released the Final Merit list for Combined Defence Service (CDS) (I) Examination 2024 on 07 January, 2024. In order of merit, in respect of 590 (*470 + 120) candidates who have finally qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and Interviews held by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the (i) *Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for 121st Short Service Commission Course (Men) (NT) (UPSC) and (ii) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 35th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course, Commencing in April, 2025. The List of 121st Short Service Commission (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course also includes the name of some of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of the result of the same examination for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Acacdemy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course(s).
UPSC CDS (I) Final Result 2024 Declared
The Union Public Service Commission has released the Final Results of the Combined Defence Service (CDS) (I) 2024 on 21 October, 2024.The CDS (I) Exam was conducted in April, 2024, followed by interviews by Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.Candidates of total 237 has been qualified for Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), & Air Force Academy (AFA), among other defense institutes.
The successful candidates will now be admitted to the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad for the No.217 Flying (Pre-Flying) Training Course, the IMA in Dehradun for the 158th (DE) Course, and INA at Ezhimala, Kerala for the INA, There are 158 Applicants for the Indian Military Academy, 44 for the Indian Naval Academy, and 35 for the Air Force Academy on the final merit list.Some candidates qualified for more than one course, therefore they featured on more than one list.
The Government reports that there are the following number of vacancies; 32 for the INA (with 6 seats reserved for holders for NCC 'C' Certificate Naval Wings), 32 for the IMA (with 13 seats reserved the holders of NCC 'C' Certificate Army Wings), and 32 for the Air Force Academy (with 3 reserved for holders of NCC 'C' Certficate Air wings).1954 Applicants passed the written exam, 586 passed it for the INA, and 628 passed it for the Air Force Academy.The SSB Interviews served as the basis for the final decision.Please take note that the results of the medical examination were not taken into the account while creating this final merit list.
