How to Apply For CTET

The online registration for CTET December 2021 starts from September 20, 2021. Candidates can apply online until October 19, 2021.

The candidate applying for CTET is required:

  • The candidates should have to go through the Information Bulletin carefully with the entire requirement therein
  • The candidates should have to hold a satisfy eligibility to appear in the examination and to submit the online application by giving full particulars by accessing the CTET official website
  • The candidate should have to write the complete mailing address with postal pin code at the time of applying


If a candidate submits more than one online application, his/her candidature shall be liable to be cancelled and the candidate may also be debarred for future examinations. No communication will be sent in this regard.

Method of Submission of Online Application Form:

Step 1: Log on to the CTET official website, i.e. www.ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Go to the link 'Apply Online' and open the same

Step 3: Fill in the Online Application Form with the details like State, Identification Type, Candidate's Name, DOB, Gender, and Security Pin. After completing & submission the application form, a registration/application gets generated and note down the registration number/application number.

Step 4: Upload the scanned images of latest photograph and signature (Size of the photo should be in b/w 10 to 100 KB in JPG/JPEG format with 3.5 cm [width] x 4.5 cm [height])

Step 5: Pay the examination fee by e-challan or debit/credit card.

Fee Details for CTET-2021 are as follows:

Category Only Paper-I or Paper-II Both Paper-I and Paper-II
General/OBC Rs. 1000/- Rs. 1200/-
SC/ST/Differently Abled Person Rs. 500/- Rs. 600/-

*Once the payment is done, it shall not be refunded or adjusted for the future test under any circumstances.

Mode of Payment:

Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the precribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

  • Payment through e-challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank
  • Aspirants can select the mode of the payment as an online mode and should have to follow the instruction carefully while doing online payment

Step 6: Print confirmation page for the record and future reference.


Candidate should enter his/her particulars, i.e. Name, Father’s Name, Mother’ Name and Date of Birth as per Class X Certificate. Please note that no request for any change in particular will be accepted under any circumstances after the specified date for online correction is over.
