CTET Admit Card

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will provide CTET Admit Card 2024 approximately two days before the exam. The CTET Exam dates have yet to be declared by the board. Candidates who have registered for the CTET Exam can access their admissions cards at ctet.nic.in., the offical website. To download the CTET Admit Card, Candidates must input their registration number and date of birth.

Candidates have to appear for the Central Teachers Ability Test (CTET) to become teachers from classes 1 to 8 in the government schools across the country. One who registers for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Exam (CTET) has to download the admit card in order to take the examination. The organising body, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), will release the CTET admit cards at least 10 days prior to the examination.

The candidates may download Admit Card from CTET official website and appear for the examination at the given Centre. In case of any discrepancy noticed in admit card regarding particulars of candidate, photograph and signature or any other information vary from the confirmation page, he/she may immediately contact CTET Unit for necessary corrections.

The Centraal Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the exam's organising body, will release CTET admission cards at least 2-5 days before the exam. Candidates may obtain an Admit Card from the CTET official website and present for the examination at the desighated location. The examination will be conducted in two shifts. Candidates who wish to teach classes I to V have to appear for paper-I. Paper-II is for the ones who want to teach classes VI to VIII. CTET 2024 Time Schedule

CTET Paper 1 will begin at 9:30 AM & end at 12:00 PM., While Paper 2 will begin at 2:30 PM and end at 5:00 PM. The detailed CTET exam date 2024 & Schedule, including reporting time, last entry and other details, may be found in the table below.

How To Download CTET Admit Card 2024

Candidates may download their CTET Admit Card 2024 by using the direct link provided above or by visiting the official website & entering their-

  • Application Number
  • Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy)

To obtain your CTET Admit Card 2024, follow the instructions outline below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET – www.ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Under the New Click on the "CTET admit card Jan 2024" link on the homepage 

Step 3: Enter the CTET registration number and date of birth. 

Step 4: Type Security pin (Captcha Code) that appears on the screen.

Step 5: Click on the Submit button.

Step 6: The admit card will be displayed on the screen. 

Step 7: Download the CTET Admit Card and take a printout of the same.

Candidates are recommended to be at the exam site prior to the reporting time in order to complete the formalities on time. The applicants are advised that the CTET Admit Card 2024 may only be accessed onoine form the official website - www.ctet.nic.in.

CTET Admit Card 2024 Specifications

Candidates must check the following details on their CTET Admit Card 2024 PDF and contact the exam authority as soon as possible if there is an error.

Candidate's Name - The candidate's name as it appears on their application form.

Father's Name - The father's name of the CTET Exam candidate has been printed on the candidate's CTET Admit Card 2024.

Date of Birth (DOB) - The CTET Admit Card includes the candidate's date of birth in the format dd/mm/yyyy.

Application Number - Following the completion of the application process, the candidate receives a unique ID; the roll number or registration number is then utilised for subsequent procedures.

Photograph & Signature - The CTET Admit Card includes the candidate's signature and photograph, which were uploaded at the time of registration.

CTET Exam Date - The examination date, which is January, 2024.

Name of the Exam Center - Complete information about the exam centre, including the date and address where the candidate must report on exam day.

Exam Timings - The CTET Admit Cards includes the reporting time and shift time for CTET Exam 2024.

Details On CTET Admit Card 

  • The CTET admit cards released by the CBSE will contain all the information related to a candidate, such as a name, category, gender, roll/registration number, date of birth, photograph and signature.
  • It will also contain the exam-related information such as paper for which the candidate will appear, address of the exam centre, exam date, exam time, language opted and question paper medium. 

Documents To Carry Along With CTET Admit Card

Candidates have to carry at least one of the following documents along with the CTET admit card while appearing for the exam. The list of documents accepted by the CBSE are as follows:

How To Re-Generate Application Number/ Password?

Many candidates find it difficult to recollect the application number and password because of the time gap between registration and downloading the admit card. In such cases, candidates can regenerate the application number and password with below steps.  

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET.

Step 2: Go to the Login button.

Step 3: Click on the 'Forgot Password' or 'Forgot Application Number' link.

Step 4: Enter the mandatory fields. 

Step 5: Click on submit button 

Step 6: The application number and password will be re-generated. 

Note: Candidates can use the application number and password to download the CTET 2024 Admit Card.   

CTET Admit Card: Important Guidelines 

  • In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary (CTET), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM along with proof of payment of fee i.e.

    candidate copy of E-Challan, if payment made through E-Challan for considering his/her candidature for CTET examination.

  • The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidate report at the examination centre after 9:30 AM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper-I and candidate report after 2:00 PM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper-II.
  • The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
  • Aspirants have to download the CTET admit card from the official website and appear for the examination at the given centre. While appearing for the CTET examination, candidates need to carry one of the prescribed photo ID proofs. Candidates have to note that the CBSE will not send CTET admit cards.
