CLAT Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programmes: The candidates should have a Senior Secondary School / Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognised board with 45% (40% for SC / ST / OBC / PWD) of marks in aggregate.

  • Candidates who are appearing for 10+2 examination are also eligible to appear in the test.

  • Age of the candidate should not be more than 20 years for general / OBC candidates and 22years for SC / ST and persons with disability) as on 01st July 2017.

  • The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his / her admission to submit original documents. 

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Programmes: 

  • Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Programmes: The candidates should have an LL.B / B.L degree or an equivalent degree with 55% (50% for SC / ST / OBC /PWD) of marks from any of the recognised universities.

  • Candidates who are appearing for final year/sem degree examination are also eligible to appear in the test.

  • The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/ her admission to submit original documents.
