Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India to offer admission to aspirants in Master of Design (M.Des) and PhD programmes.
On the basis of a candidate’s score in CEED exam, he/she can secure admission in M.Des course at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IISc Bangalore, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur and UPES Dehradun and Ph.D programme on offer at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur.
Aspirants who have qualified GATE will also be considered for admission in M.Des programmes offered at IISc Bangalore and IIT Kanpur.
The objective of the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is to evaluate the candidate’s aptitude for design involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The registration for CEED 2021 will start on September 9, 2020, and it will end on October 10, 2020. Whereas, the CEED 2021 exam will be held on January 17, 2021.
For all Women Candidates: INR 1600 + GST
For SC/ST/PwD Candidates: INR 1600 + GST
For all Other Candidates: INR 3200 + GST
The normal registration fee shown above is applicable till the regular closing date of registration. A late fee of Rs. 500 is applicable to ALL candidates for regsitrations submitted after the regular closing date.

The applicants must have passed a degree/diploma/pg degree of 4 years or 3+2 years (after Higher Secondary) or appearing for the final examination by July 2021.

Admit Cards will be available to download from the official website from the 1st January 2021 till the exam date. A candidate has to take a printout and it is mandatory to bring the admit card to the examination centre.
The examination consists of two parts, i.e. Part A and Part B. A candidate has to attempt questions from both the parts compulsory. Part A will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Part B from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM.
A candidate has to choose 3 cities in the order preference at the of online registration. CEED 2021 committee plans to conduct the examination in the following cities:
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Vishakhapatnam.
Apart from above participating Institutes, CEED 2020 results will also be shared with the following Institutes, which will allow some seats in their M.Des programmes for admission through CEED 2021 for the academic year 2020-2021:
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, the organising institute, has released the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) result 2021 on March 8. Candidates who have appeared for the written exam held in January can access the CEED 2021 result and UCEED result 2021 on the official website - iitb.ac.in.
One should use their login credentials to download the CEED score 2021. It is advised to download the scorecard and keep the hard copy for future reference.

IIT Bombay has released the answer key of Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) answer key 2021 and candidate's response sheet. One can download the CEED answer key 2021 and UCEED answer key 2021 on the official website - iitb.ac.in.
The organising institute has also released the response sheets of candidates and provide an option to raise an objection. One can raise till January 24, 2021.

IIT Bombay has released the admit cards of Common Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED 2021) and Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED 2021) on January 1 on the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in.
Candidates should enter the login credentials such as email id and password. The entrance exam will be held on January 17, 2021, from 9 am to 12 pm.

IIT Bombay has declared the supplementary round one of UCEED seat allotment results. Candidates can check the result on the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in.
The supplementary round one seat allotment result has been released to undergraduate design courses IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Jabalpur.

IIT Bombay has released the official notification brochure for UCEED and CEED 2021. Interested candidates seeking admission to design courses can access the notification on official site in online mode.
Students can fill the online applications till October 10 in online mode. The admit card will be released on January 1, 2021. The exam date for both CEED and UCEED is January 17, 2021.
The application fee was increased from Rs 2600 to Rs 3200. The exam will be held in 24 cities across the country.
