SNAP Selection Procedure

SNAP Selection Process : Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) uses an exam score as the primary criterion for admittance to its MBA Programs.

The following will be used in the selection procedure for the batch of 2024-26: the Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and SNAP 2023 Score. The Scorecard for SNAP Result 2023 was made available for download until February 09, 2024 and it was revealed on January 10, 2024. The SNAP Shortlisting process have begun for SCHMRD and SIBM Pune. One the websites fo the Institutes, candidates can reserve their sports and monitor the PI Status.

SNAP Selection Process 2024 : Highlights

Only on the SNAP 2023 Application form will applicants be required to indicate their desired MBA Programs and SIU Institutes. Additionally, on the SNAP registation / application form, candidates for SNAP 2023 will be required to pay INR 1,000 for each SIU Institute.

• Once SNAP Registartion for 2023 is closed, candidates are not able to apply to SIU Institutes.
• For each program, each institute adminsiters the SNAP Admissions process independently.
• The SNAP Cut-offs set for that specific academic year will serve as the basis for the GE-PI-WAT Participation call.
• Each SIU Institute will set its admittance cutoffs according to its own set of rules and regualations.
• When creating a PI Shortlist, the candidate's academic background will also be taken into account.
• A candidate may be shortlisted for mutlitple programs based on their total SNAP 2023 Cut-off percentile. They will have to take part in the individual course selection procedures in such a case.

SNAP Admission Process 2024

For those who pass the SNAP Exam, the MBA Class of 2024 will go through the SNAP 2023 Shortlisting procedure, which will consist of GE, PI, and WAT. Candidates will be eligible for GE, PI and WAT if they satisfy the minimal SNAP Cut-off percentile set by the institutes.

Candidates must complete an online application on the websites of the institutes they have chosen in the SNAP registration form to participate in GE, PI and WAT

The process of selection in SNAP 2023 will be a 3 step procedure. SNAP is held every year for admissions into PG management programmes of Symbiosis International University and its participating institutes.

Selection Procedure consists of three main steps:

• SNAP 2023 Online Exam
  
• SNAP GE-PIWAT
• Admission to preferred Institute/B-Schools

A candidate will be shortlisted for GE-PIWAT based on her / his overall SNAP 2022 Percentile.

According to SNAP selection procedure, candidates must take up SNAP entrance exam and based on SNAP 2023 percentile are required for further admission rounds.

Those candidates who are shortlisted will only be eligible to participate in the selection process of SNAP.

Selection Procedure for GE-PIWAT are:

• Shortlisted status can be checked by the students under the programme
• The selection of the slots will be done on the basis of first come first book basis
• Candidate will be allowed to attend one GE-PIWAT round in the programme they have applied for

Once the selection process is over a final Merit list is announced, declaring the names of selected candidates for admission in the management programmes in various campuses.

NOTE :

It is mandatory to attend all components / tests of  GE-PIWAT to be eligible for admission to any PG Programme. Only the candidate who attends all components / tests of selection process (GE-PIWAT) shall be considered as eligible for generation for merit / wait / reject list. The candidate who remains absent for any one of the component/ tests will be considered as ineligible for selection process of any of the MBA Programmes of SIU.

The category wise cut-off for Merit List and Wait List will be screened on the website of the respective institutes. The Wait List movement will depend upon the vacant seats available in each & every institute.

Please note that this admission in provisional and will be confirmed on payment of fees on or before the due date and subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions of the respective programme(s) and in accordance with the rules of the SIU.
