Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national level common entrance test, conducted by the Symbiosis International University (Deemed) for the admissions to MBA/M.

Sc (CA)/M.Sc (SS) programmes of the B-schools. SNAP is conducted once in a year and it is a computer based exam. The test is conducted in the second or third week of December every year.

SNAP 2024 Preparation Tips

If your are preparing for other MBA Admission examinations such as CAT, NMAT, or XAT, then preparing for SNAP 2024 won't take a lot of time. Since SNAP follows the same syllabus as previous tests, there won't be many obstacles in your way when you prepare. You only need to perform SNAP Specific exercises and questions.

The topics covered in the exam Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is divided into four sections and they are:

• General English section consists of Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability
• The next section is the Quantitative, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency
• The third section consists of Analytical & Logical Reasoning
• The fourth section consists questions from Current Affairs

SNAP 2020 is a computer based objective test (only for Normal Questions), and each question has four options, from which the test taker has to choose one appropriate answer. The Special Questions in each section will have blanks where answers will have to entered by the candidate by using virtual keyboard.

In grammar, questions may arise from active and passive voice, tenses and parts of speech. The quantitative ability contains questions in the areas of arithmetics, algebra, geometry, mensuration, and trigonometry.

The section on data interpretation may have generic questions based on bar graphs, pie charts, and line graphs.

The section on analytical and logical reasoning may have questions from areas like coding-decoding, Venn diagrams, cubes, verbal analogy, double line distribution, blood relations and fact inference judgements.

Make a list of the various topics you need to study for the week. Schedule topics accordingly and try to follow the time-table while you study. Make sure that you complete that topic for the day.

Focus on Fundamentals

The Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation sections often carry simple questions but critical to solving. To tackle these, you need to start studying the basics.

Concentrate on Analytical, Logical Reasoning Section

This section provides you with an opportunity to score well. In order to be perfect in this section buy books that are available in the market and practice regularly.

Verbal Communication
