SNAP Eligibility Criteria

Symbiosis University Deemed University, Pune defines the SNAP 2024 eligibility Criteria for candidates aspiring for appear in the SNAP 2024 Exam.

Before you apply for SNAP 2024, make sure that you meet the following criteria to be eligible to take up the SNAP Test:

SNAP Eligibility Criteria - The overall eligibility for SNAP is that the candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognised  / Statutory University or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST). The minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years.

A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from Foreign University must hold an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of Symbiosis International University (Deemed University).

Important Points of Eligibility Criteria for SNAP 2024:

  • The eligibility for SNAP will vary from the candidates belonging to the general candidates to the reserve candidates category
  • For the candidates belonging to the General & OBC category, the candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
  • The candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) should obtain at least 45% marks in the graduation aggregate to meet the SNAP 2024 eligibility.
  • Another criterion to take up SNAP is the age of candidates should be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • The participating institutes in SNAP 2024, might also have separate eligibility criteria.
  • Check the individual institute's criteria in the below table
  • Candidates in final year of their graduation are also eligible to take up SNAP 2024
  • These candidates must make sure to submit the marks of the final year of graduation within the stipulated time by the Symbiosis International University or the participating B-schools.

  • The university holds all the rights to cancel an application in case it does not meet the eligibility criteria. Hence, make sure you are eligible before you apply

Graduation in any Engineering Stream (B.E. or B.Tech); Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) or Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan.) from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% Marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or Equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes (ST) candidates. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% Marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes).

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign Univeristy must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

MBA (Business Analytics)  Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/
Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks
or equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/
Scheduled Tribes (ST) or equivalent grade) and minimum two
years of full-time work experience after completion of graduation

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification
from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence
certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB, Pune)  MBA (Agri-Business)

 Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University
or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of
50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or
equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes

Candidates appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree education may
also, apply, but their admission will be subject to
obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
(45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

MBA (Energy & Environment)

Candidate should be Bachelor of Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes) at graduation.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalnet grade in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS, Pune) MBA

Candidate should be graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance  and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks or equivalent grade at graduation.

Defence Category candidates should be Son / Daughter / Spouse of Defence Personne.

Candidate appearing for final year examination can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management (SIOM, Nashik) MBA (Operations Management)  

Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (Bachelor of Engineering/Technology) from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance  and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes) at graduation.

Candidate appearing for final year examination can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
MBA (Agri Operations Management)

Candidate should be graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance  and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes) at graduation.

Candidate appearing for final year examination can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes).

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT, Pune) MBA (Data Sciences & Data Analytics)

Candidate should be Graduate with Mathematics at +2 level from any recognised University or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50%
 or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University
 must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

SIBM Bengaluru MBA (Quantitative Finance)

Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC / ST) at graduation level. The students must have studied Mathematics / Statistics during Class XII.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying quailification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SIBM, Nagpur MBA (Food & Agri-Businese Management)

Candidate should be Graduate from any recognized Univeristy / Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes) at graduation.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe ).

Candidate who have completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certifcate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SSCANS MBA (Food Techology & Food Enterprise Management)

Candidate should be Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance in Food Technology, Hotel Management, Home Science, Food Science & Quality Control, Culinary Art, Food Ecology / Sustainability, Packaging Technology, Nutrition, Microbiology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Food Engineering etc, with a minimum of 50& marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes) at graduation level.

SSBF MBA (Banking & Finance) (Dual Degree, with Aston University, UK)*

Candidate should be graduate from any recognized University / Institution and should not have any backlogs. Candidate should be able to furnish required academic records on demand).

Eligibility Requirement at SIU (as per SIU Norms)

Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent grade (60% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes)

Candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

All foreign degrees / qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to my program of SIU.

The Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees / qualifications.

Additionally, for dual degree programme student needs to secure at least 6.5 GPA in the first semester at SSBF.

Eligibility Requirement at Aston University (In addition to the above)

60% overall in Bachelor's Degree | 6 out of 10 GPA | 4.2 out of 7 GPA + a content minimum of 50% from each of the following areas: Economics (Micro/Macro), Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics, Finance.

A Minimum of 75%  (CBSE / ISC) or 80% (State Board / NIOS) in Standard 12th English for the reasons of Compliance OR 6.5 (3 bands at 6.0) and I band at 5.5)  in IELTS.

Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from your previous Institute or employer.

Prior work experience is preferred however not mandatory. Work experience / Internship document to be provided, if applicable.

  MBA (Banking & Finance) (Dual Degree, with Macquarie University, Australia)*

The Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized institute and should not have any backlogs. Candidate should be able to furnish required academic records or demand).

Eligibility Requirement at SIU (as per SIU Norms)

Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent grade (60% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes)

Candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

All foreign degrees / qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to my program of SIU.

Eligibility Requirement at Macquarie University (in addition to the above)

Completion of 1 year (semesters 1 & 2) of the relevant SSBF MBA Program with a minimum of WAM 65.

Completion of an undergraduate degree with a minimum average score of 50% or equivalent. Students must submit SIU-certified mark sheets - Class 12 & Bachelor's Degree Certificate.

Minimum Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent

Prior work experience preferred however not mandatory. Work experience / Internship document to be provided, if applicable.
