National Institute of Design (NID) not yet released any syllabus for NID DAT Exam 2025-26.
NID Exam 2025 is two step process, Therefore candidates first needs to appear in NID DAT Prelims and then in NID DAT Mains. Only such candidates who are qualified in DAT Prelims will be shortlisted for DAT Mains.
NID DAT Mains comprises a Studio Test for the B.Des Program, whereas it comprises a Studio Test & an Online Interview for the M.Des Program. NID DAT 2025 Syllabus will be different for the B.Des and M.Des Programs.
To assist candidates, we have examined past NID Question papers and identified the key subjects on which they should focus their study for the design entrance test. The DAT Prelim and DAT Main Question papers from prior years are the basis for compilling the relevant subjects.
Thus, by reviewing the key subjects in advance of the NID DAT 2025 exam, you will not only know what to prepare for but also increase your chances of doing well on the test. The key subjects will shed light on the relative importance of the subjects, the complexity of the questions posed, and any noteworthy patterns.
The National Institute of Design will administer the NID DAT 2025 (Prelims) Test on 05 January, 2025.
Those taking the DAT Preliminary exam study beyond just consulting the syllabus.
