Freeze - When an applicant is content with the seat assigned to him or her and does not want to engage in future rounds of counselling.

Float - When a candidate is happy with his or her current seat but would like to be considered for other institutes in future rounds of seat distribution.

Slide - This indicates that the candidates has accpeted the assigned seat but is still available for admission to a more highly desiredcourse offered by the same organisation.

Step 5: Pay the seat acceptance fee: Candidates who have been assigned seats must pay the seat acceptance fee by e-challan or C=SBI Net Banking. It should be noted that the seat acceptance cost will vary depending on the candidate's category. Candidates must report to the designated institute for document verification after accepting the seat.

JEE Main 2025 Special Counselling.

The authorities conduct the JEE Mains 2025 Special Round Counselling after completing the JoSAA Counselling. For Admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, the JEE Main special round will be held. Candidates must register for CSAB individually in order to participate in the special round counselling.
