What is XAT Exam?

XAT - The Xavier Aptitude Test is a national level aptitude test conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. The scores of the XAT will be used for admissions by XLRI Jamshedpur and other Xavier Associate Management Institutes and over 160 B-schools across the country.

XAT 2021 exam is conducted on 3rd January 2021. The XAT is a national level test conducted by the XLRI to select the most appropriate candidates for management education from all over the country.

The institute has expertise in setting up the exam and then selecting the best candidates for management studies. There are several other institutes which consider XAT scores for their selection procedure.

There are 150+ management institutes which use XAT scores for their admission process. The XAT is a three-hour long exam and it is the preliminary step towards applying to XLRI and XAT Associate Institutes. Applicants applying to XAT Associate Institutes, besides XLRI have to apply separately according to their choice.

It is a computer-based test and the questions are based on Verbal and Logical Ability (VA & LR), Decision Making (DM), Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (QA & DI), and General Knowledge (GK). The biggest change for this year is there will be no Essay Writing section for XAT 2021.

Application Fee:

XAT 2021 Registration Fee (without late fee) - Rs. 1750/-

Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300/- each.

Indian Candidates applying for GMP through GMAT - Rs. 2500/-

NRI / Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT Rs. 5000/- each.

  • Candidates interested in applying to XLRI and other XAT Associate Institutes may obtain details from the respective institute's website. Check their registration/application procedure
  • Candidates may please note that XLRI does not ascertain the quality of the degree or programmes offered by XAT Associate Institutes.
  • Each institute independently decides the weightage be given for each of the test components on the basis of its needs. XLRI does not play any role in the selection of the candidates in these institutes

XAT Exam Analysis 2019

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) exam analysis is the most important thing candidates should consider while preparing for this computer-based examination. The exam analysis will provide the key details such as weightage of the sections and important topics that should be covered first. The organisers of XAT eliminated the essay-writing section from this year. 

The XAT 2020 exam is tough compared to previous years. The verbal and logical ability sections consist of 26 questions. The decision-making and quantitative ability & data interpretation sections consist of 21 and 27 questions, respectively. To check the detailed XAT 2020 exam analysis, click here

XAT 2021 Last Day Extended To December 10

Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur has extended the registration window of XAT 2021. As per the sources, the last day to register online for XAT 2021 is December 10, 2020. Interested candidates who have not yet registered for XAT exam can apply online on the official website - xatonline.in.

Candidates should pay Rs 1750 as exam fee to successfully submit the application form. The XAT 2021 admit card will be available on the official website from December 30, 2020, onwards. The entrance test will be held on January 3, 2020.

XAT 2021: Last Day To Registration

The registration window of XAT 2021 will end today, November 30, 2020. Interested candidates who have not yet registered for the exam can apply online on the official website - xatonline.in.

Candidates should pay Rs 1750 as exam fee. The XAT 2021 will be held on January 3. The sources suggest that admit cards will be available on the official website from December 30, 2020.

XAT 2021 Registration Window To Close Soon

Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur is all set to close the registration window of XAT 2021. Interested candidates who have not yet registered for the exam can apply online till November 30.

The XAT entrance test will be held on January 3, 2021, and admit cards will be available on the official website from December 30.

Earlier, Xavier institute has announced that GRE and GMAT scores for admission to the Executive PGDM (General) programme.

XAT 2021 Notification Released

Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur has released the official notification of XAT 2021. According to the XAT notification 2021, the registration process will begin from September 10. Interested candidates can apply online till November 30.

The XAT 2021 entrance exam will be held on January 3, 2021, in Computer Based Test mode. This year, the exam authority has increased the application fee by Rs 50. The application fee is Rs 1750 with an additional fee of Rs 300 for applying to XLRI programmes. 

The admit card will be available from December 20, 2020, onwards. The result will be released in the last week of January 2021.

XAT 2021 Exam Details Released

Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur has released the official XAT notification 2021. According to XAT notification 2021, the online application process will begin from September 10 to November 30, 2020. XAT 2021 is scheduled to be held on January 3, 2021, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

XLRI conducts XAT 2021 on behalf of XAMI to shortlist the most appropriate students for management education. The XAT score is being used by more than 160 institutes for the admission. Aspirants are advised to keep visiting the official website for more details.
