What is SNAP Exam?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a common written test conducted by the Symbiosis International University (Deemed University) for the admissions to MBA/M.Sc (CA)/M.Sc (SS) programmes offered by Symbiosis International.

SNAP is conducted once in a year and it is a computer-based test format.

SNAP 2019:

The Symbiosis International University has started the registration process on August 16, 2019, and it will end on November 23, 2019. For all the B-schools accepting SNAP scores, there is a common application process.

The aspirants who wish to appear for the SNAP 2019 entrance exam must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria and have to register online at https://www.snaptest.org

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate from any recognised/statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). If a candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). SNAP 2019 Exam Analysis

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2019 will be on December 17, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm across 92 cities in India. This computer-based test comprises four sections – general English, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation & data sufficiency, analytical & logical reasoning and current affairs.

Around two lakh candidates appeared for SNAP 2018 for admission to various master's programmes. This year, SNAP, inspired by CAT changed the question format. SNAP 2019 rated between moderate and difficult. Here are some points related to SNAP 2019 exam analysis. 

  • The total number of questions had been reduced to 130 from 150. 
  • The question paper was divided into MCQs and Non-MCQs.
  • The question paper consisted of four sections; however, the least weightage was awarded to the current affairs (GK) section. 
  • The scoring pattern – 1 mark for each correct answer for MCQs and +2 for correct answer Non-MCQs. 
  • 25 per cent of the marks will be deducted for negative marking. 
  • The reading comprehension passages were moderate and a few logical reasonings were difficult. 
  • The general knowledge questions were asked from the recently held assembly elections. 
  • The expected cut-off score for SNAP 2019 will be between 60 and 65 marks out of 150.

General English 

The two reading comprehension passages in the English paper contained 5 questions each. Most of the questions were based on the facts. The vocabulary-based questions were easy. Candidates also found questions related to grammar. Aspirants who attempted 30 to 32 questions accurately may get the positive result. 

Quantitative Ability

Candidates found this section easier compared to previous years. Most of the questions were based on Geometry and Modern Math. The test takers didn’t find questions on data interpretation, instead, the questions were on data sufficiency. Candidates who have attempted around 25 questions with more than 90 per cent accuracy will get a good score. 

Logical And Analytical Reasoning

This was divided into MCQs and Non-MCQs type. Candidates' physics knowledge was also tested in this section along with reasoning skills. Many test takers felt that the questions in LR were moderate. Candidates who attempted over 20 questions with 80 to 90 per cent accuracy can clear the test. 

Current Affairs 

The questions in the CA were dominated by business awareness and Indian polity. The questions were also asked on international events, science & technology, sports, awards, geography, schemes, etc. Candidates who have done well in more than 12 questions with more than 70 per cent accuracy will surely clear in this section.

SNAP 2019 Exam Cut-off

We expect that the SNAP 2019 exam cut-off score will be between 60 and 65 out of 150. The shortlisting will be based on sectional and overall cut-offs. Candidates have to note that who will not meet the sectional cut-off will not be considered for shortlisting.

Test Day Guide For SNAP 2019 Exam

SNAP 2019 will be conducted in online mode across 90 cities in the country on December 15, 2019. The exam authority has released the test day guide for aspirants. Candidates who are appearing for SNAP exam are advised to read the document carefully. 

Aspirants should download SNAP admit card and take a printout of the same to appear for the exam. The SNAP admit card will contain all the details about the exam including what to do on test day. One should carry only the colour copy of SNAP admit card 2019.

SNAP Admit Card 2019 Released

The SNAP admit card 2019 released on the official site. Candidates who have registered for the written examination can visit the website to download the SNAP 2019 admit card. The admit card will be available on the official site until the exam date. 

Candidates should use their login credentials such as SNAP ID and password to download the SNAP admit card 2019. The admit card is the most important document to appear for the SNAP 2019 examination. 

The SNAP exam will be conducted on December 15, 2020. The SNAP result will be released during the second week of January 2020.

SNAP 2019: Registration Date Extended To November 26

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has extended the last date to register online for SNAP 2019. The last date to apply online is November 26. Interested candidates can register online in online mode only. 

Aspirants should pay Rs 1750 as application fee to complete the registration process. The SNAP admit card 2019 will be released on December 2. The exam will be held on December 15, 2019. 

The SNAP exam is conducted for admission to postgraduate management programmes in Symbiosis. The test will be held at 92 test centres across the country.

SNAP 2020 Application Window To Close On November 23

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is all set to close the registration window for entrance exam on November 23, 2019. Interested candidates who are aspiring for admission to management courses at the University can visit the official website to register online. 

Candidates should provide personal details along with educational. The application is successful only after the payment. The SNAP 2020 will be conducted on December 15, 2019. The admit cards are likely to be released during the second week of December. The SNAP 2020 result will be released after 15 days.

SNAP 2019: Mock Test 2 To Be Held On November 2 & 3

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has started accepting the registration for SNAP mock test 2. The exam authorities will conduct SNAP mock test 2 on November 2 and 3, 2019. Interested candidates can register for the mock test through the official website of SNAP. 

Earlier, the organisers had conducted the mock test 1 on October 19 and 20, 2019. They have also released the result for mock test 1. The mock test plays a significant role in exam preparation along with displaying strengths and weaknesses. 

SNAP 2019 exam will be held on December 15. All registered candidates can download SNAP admit card from December 2, 2019, onwards. The SNAP 2019 result will be declared on January 10, 2019.
