NCHMCT JEE Examination Pattern

NCHMCT JEE 2024 exam pattern will be prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the official website. Candidates must be well-versed in the NCHMCT JEE exam pattern 2024 in order to avoid missing any crucial aspects of the exam while studying for it.

The NCHMCT JEE 2024 exam will las three hours and will be administered as a computer-based test in May, 2024. The NCHMCT JEE 2024 exam paper will have five sections. English Language, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, Numercial Ability and Analytical Aptitude, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Service Sector. NCHMCT JEE 2024 Exam Pattern - Sectional Weightage

Candiates can view the total number of questions asked in each section in this table. The NCHMCT JEE Marking Scheme is as follows: Four points are awarded for each correct answer and one point is deducted for each incorrect response. Unattempted questions will receive no credit or deduction.

Marking:

1.

Every correct answer in the below subject will be awarded one mark each:

  • Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude

  • Reasoning & Logical Deduction

  • General Knowledge & Current Affairs and

  • English Language section

2. 0.25 marks will be deducted from their total for every wrong answer.

3. According to NCHMCT website “Graded mark(s) will be awarded to candidates under the Aptitude for Service Sector component in the following manner; the most appropriate answer carries 1.00, the next appropriate answer carries 0.75, the next to next appropriate answer carries 0.50, whereas the least appropriate answer carries negative marks of 0.25 to be deducted”.

Medium of Question Paper:

1. The Medium of Question Paper shall be in English & Hindi Only.

2. Option of medium of Question Paper should be carfefully chosen by the candidate, while filling the application form online. The option once exercised cannot be changed.

3. In case of any ambiguity in translation / construction of a question in the exam, in English version shall be treated as final and the decision of NTA shall be final in this regard.

Marking Scheme:

1. Each question carries 04 Marks.

2. For each correct response, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.

3. For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.

4. Un-answered / un-attempted will be given zero (0) mark.

5. To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.

6. However, after the process of Challenges of the Anwer key, in case of there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.

7. In none of the options is correct / Question is found to be wrong - Question to be dropped would be deemed to comprise the balance questions which are correct and percent equivalence will be established based on the remaining correct questions.
