National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) was established in 1982 as an autonomous body for the growth and development of hospitality management education in the country.
NCHMCT regulates academics in the field of hospitality education & training that is imparted at the 21 central government affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 state government affiliated IHMs offering degree level program; 3 state government sponsored IHMs offering diploma/craft certificate level programs, PSU Institute of Hotel Management, 13 private institutes and 9 Food Craft Institutes that function in different parts of the country. Through the Council, these institutes offer a total of 11 different professional programmes.
For admission to 3 years 6 semesters B.Sc Hospitality & Hotel Administration program in more than 63 IHMs that include govt as well as private under the academic umbrella of NCHMCT, candidates need to qualify in the NCHMCT JEE (Joint Entrance Exam).
NCHMCT JEE also known as NCHM JEE is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate courses. As per the government of India policy, from 2019 onwards, NCHM JEE will be conducted by the Central Government Agency created by the HRD Ministry, ''National Testing Agency.''
Candidates need to have all the eligibility requirements set by the respective body. Candidates should pass in the 10+2 or its equivalent with English as a subject of study from a recognised central or state board. Candidates who're appearing or awaiting for the final year result are also eligible to apply. The upper age limit of a candidate is 22 years. However, age relaxation is provided to reserved categories.
Candidates have to apply online to take the entrance exam. One should start applying to the NCHMCT JEE by filling the basic details such as name and date of birth. Applicants are advised to scan the photograph and signature, prior to filling out the application form.

The organising body has decided to conduct the NCHMCT JEE in an online mode. The written exam will be held in 33 or more cities across the country. However, the exam scheme will remain same as the previous years on the following components. The duration of the exam is three hours.

Candidates who have submitted the application form can download the admit card from the official website. Aspirants have to make a note that the admit cards will not be sent through the post. In order to download the admit card, one should enter the details such as application number, date of birth and email ID. Candidates have to deposit one copy of the self-attested NCHMCT JEE admit card with the invigilator. Another copy of the NCHMCT JEE admit card must be presented during the examination.

The selection of the candidate will be purely based the merit. The marks scored in the online exam will be considered for qualifying. One should reach the cut-off score set by the organising body to get admission.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the window of online applications for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2021.
Interested candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions set by NCHM can fill the online applications on its official website at nchmjee.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply online is May 10, 2021.
The Agency will be conducting the online exam on June 12, 2021.

The NTA has released the NCHMCT JEE result 2020 along with the score card. Candidates who have appeared for the written examination can visit the official website to check the NCHM JEE 2020 result.
One should use their login credentials such as application number and date of birth or password to download NCHM JEE result 2020. It is advised to download NCHM JEE score card for future use.

The NTA has released the NCHMCT JEE Answer Key 2020 along with the question paper. Candidates who have appeared for the written examination can visit the official website to download the NCHM JEE 2020 answer key. One should use their login credentials such as application number and date of birth or password.
Candidates can challenge the NCHMCT JEE answer key till September 2 till 5:00 p.m. One should pay Rs 200 to challenge the answer key. The fee will be refunded if found correct.
The final answer key and result is likely to be released in October 2020.

The NTA has conducted the NCHM JEE 2020 exam at various test centres amid COVID pandemic on August 29 between 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. Check the NCHMCT exam analysis below.
Many students believe that the NCHMCT JEE paper was easy and very few questions were tricky. There were too many questions from the English section. Not a single technical problem faced by students during the exam. Students faced a lot of stress due to the change of exam dates multiple times. A few students also assume they will lose marks in reasoning section due to difficulty level.
The NCHM JEE result will be declared in September 2020.

The National Testing Agency has released the NCHMCT JEE 2020 admit card. Candidates who are aspiring for the hotel management and catering technology programmes can download their admit cards from the official website - nchmjee.nta.nic.in.
The official notice reads, “The candidates are advised to download their admit card of NCHM JEE 2020 and go through the instructions contained therein as well as in the Information Bulletin. It is mandatory for the students to bring the duly filled undertaking form of COVID-19.”
NCHMCT JEE will be held at 86 cities across the country. The exam will be conducted on August 29 between 3 pm and 6 pm. The entrance exam is held for admission to hospitality and hotel management programmes.
