What is MAT Exam?

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), for admissions to MBA and equivalent programmes since 1988. From 2003 onwards Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved  MAT as a national level test.

MAT is an objective test, designed to measure the candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment.

B-School, national and international management colleges can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the scorecards issued to the candidates. MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600+ B-Schools across India.

Center for Management Services (CMS) is the specialised division of AIMA undertaking testing and other management services. Since 1988, these testing services have been in operation under the trademark All India Management Aptitude Testing Services (AIMATS).

AIMATS has the unique distinction of being the first to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification for the range of services under its scope.

AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.

MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad.

Please note that due to the onging COVID-19 Pandemic, conduct of MAT May 2021 in PBT Mode is subject to prevailing situation and applicable government guidelines.

Candidates can take MAT as

(i) Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or

(ii) Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or

(iii) Paper Based Test (PBT) or

(iv) Paper Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (PBT+IBT) or

(v) Computer Based Test (CBT) or

(vi) Computer Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (CBT+IBT) or

(viii) Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test (PBT+CBT)

MODE OF TEST (How to Take the test)

NOTE :

Candidate can opt for 2 IBT / PBT + IBT / CBT + IBT / PBT + CBT tests by paying an extra fees of Rs. 1100/- in addition to Rs. 1650/-.

Candidates can opting for 2 IBTs / PBT + IBT / CBT + IBT / PBT + CBT will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.

MAT Application Fee

Register Online fee can be done through with your Credit / Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI and Paytm Wallet. The fee details are given below :-

MAT Exam Pattern

The test is a 2 hours 30 minutes Computer-Based and Paper-Based Test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate's ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

ATMA 2021 Result Declared For May Session

The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has released the ATMA result 2021 in online mode. Candidates who have appeared for the ATMA 2021 May session exam held on May 30 can check their ATMA 2021 result with their login credentials on the official website - atmaaims.com.

Every year, the Association of Indian Management School (AIMS) conducts the ATMA entrance test four times a year for candidates who seek admission to various postgraduate management programs.

MAT 2021: AIMA Cancels PBT and CBT Exams for May-June Session

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has decided to cancel the MAT paper-based (PBT) and computer-based (CBT) tests for the May-June session. The official sources suggest that the MAT 2021 for May-June session will only be conducted in IBT mode (remote proctored internet based test).

 

The registrations for MAT 2021 IBTs are underway and the last date to fill the application form of MAT 2021 is June 9.

MAT 2021 PBT Schedule Revised

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has revised the MAT paper-based test (PBT) 2021 exam dates for the May session. The official sources suggest that the last date to submit the MAT application form 2021 is June 6.

The admit cards for the MAT PBT will be released on June 8. The exam authority will conduct the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) PBT on June 12.

AIMA MAT 2021: Registration Open For IBT, CBT and PBT For May-June session

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has started the registration process for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2021 May/ June session. Interested candidates can register for the MAT exam on the official website - mat.aima.in.

Every year, AIMA conducts the MAT exam in four sessions - February, May, September and December. The MAT PBT/CBT exam will be held in May/June.

MAT 2021: IBT And CBT Exam To Be Held Again in March

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has reopened the MAT 2021 registration window for both CBT and IBT. One can register for the exam till March 16. The window for MAT 2021 CBT mode will conclude on March 20.

The exams for MAT 2021 IBT mode will be held from March 18 to 20, 2021. While the MAT 2021 CBT will be conducted from March 24. The admit cards will be released at least 3 days before the exam.
