The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), for admissions to MBA and equivalent programmes since 1988. From 2003 onwards Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test.
MAT is an objective test, designed to measure the candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment.

Center for Management Services (CMS) is the specialised division of AIMA undertaking testing and other management services. Since 1988, these testing services have been in operation under the trademark All India Management Aptitude Testing Services (AIMATS).
AIMATS has the unique distinction of being the first to be awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification for the range of services under its scope.
AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.
MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad.
The MAT May 2019 registration has already started from March 07, 2019. The exam is going to be held for PBT on May 05 2019, and for CBT on May 18, 2019.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the result for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the online or offline examination in February can visit the official website to check the MAT result 2019. AIMA conducted the paper-based test (PBT) examination on February 24 and the computer-based test (CBT) on February 23, 2019.
Candidates need to enter their login credentials such as registration number to access the MAT result 2019. Aspirants are advised to download the result and take a printout of the same for future reference.

Candidates should download the admit card only from the official website and take a printout of the same. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without the admit card.

The written test of MAT will be conducted in both online and offline modes. The admit cards were released only for the paper-based test. The admit cards for the CBT (computer-based testing) mode will be released on February 19, 2019. However, AIMA will accept the applications for MAT till February 17, 2019.
Candidates should download the admit card and take a print out. They should bring the printout of the admit card to the exam hall. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without admit card.

AIMA has announced the MAT December 2018 results on the official website. Candidates can check their result along with sectional and overall scores by downloading the MAT 2018 result from the MAT website. Candidates have to note that no separate MAT scorecard would be issued through email or post.
The test takers need to enter their registration number and roll number to download their MAT December 2018 result. The MAT December 2018 examination was conducted on December 9 and 15 in the offline and online modes, respectively. However, the results will be available in online mode only.
