Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Exam

What is MAT Exam?

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), for admissions to MBA and equivalent programmes since 1988. From 2003 onwards Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved  MAT as a national level test.

MAT is an objective test, designed to measure candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment.

B-School, national and international can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the scorecards issued to the candidates. MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.

MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and also in leading cities abroad.
