The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), for admissions to MBA and equivalent programmes since 1988. From 2003 onwards Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test.
MAT is an objective test, designed to measure the candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment.
B-School, national and international management colleges can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the scorecards issued to the candidates. MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600+ B-Schools across India.
Center for Management Services (CMS) is the specialised division of AIMA undertaking testing and other management services. Since 1988, these testing services have been in operation under the trademark All India Management Aptitude Testing Services (AIMATS).
AIMATS has the unique distinction of being the first to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification for the range of services under its scope.
AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.
MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad.
Please note that due to the onging COVID-19 Pandemic, conduct of MAT Feb 2021 in PBT Mode is subject to prevailing situation and applicable government guidelines. In case the test cannot be administered on the rescheduled test date.ie., 6th March 2021 at any of the centers, the registration of those candidates will be automatically carried forward to forthcoming MAT to be scheduled in Feb 2021 or later.
Candidates can take MAT as
(i) Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or
(ii) Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or
(iii) Paper Based Test (PBT) or
(iv) Paper Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (PBT+IBT) or
(v) Computer Based Test (CBT) or
(vi) Computer Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (CBT+IBT) or
(viii) Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test (PBT+CBT)
MODE OF TEST (How to Take the test)
NOTE :
Candidate can opt for 2 IBT / PBT + IBT / CBT + IBT / PBT + CBT tests by paying an extra fees of Rs. 1100/- in addition to Rs. 1650/-.
Candidates can opting for 2 IBTs / PBT + IBT / CBT + IBT / PBT + CBT will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.
Register Online fee can be done through with your Credit / Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI and Paytm Wallet. The fee details are given below :-

The test is a 2 hours 30 minutes Computer-Based and Paper-Based Test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate's ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

The candidates have to choose up to three cities based on their preference for choosing the exam centres of MAT. The centre will be allowed based on the availability.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the MAT 2020 result for the December session. It has released MAT result for IBT, CBT and PBT in online mode on the official website - mat.aima.in.
Candidates can check their MAT result 2020 December session with their login credentials such as roll number and registration number. The entrance exam was conducted in November/ December 2020.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the MAT admit cards 2020 for November session on the official website. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download the MAT 2020 admit cards at mat.aima.in.
Candidates can download MAT admit card to appear for admission to postgraduate management programmes. The entrance exam will be conducted as an internet-based test in remote-proctored mode. The exam will be held from November 21 to 23, 2020.

AIMA has released MAT December session 2020 schedule. Candidates can check the complete schedule and start registering online.
MAT is conducted for admission to management courses in the participating institutes.
5 October 2020
AIMA has released MAT Admit card 2020 for the August session. The admit card was released the IBT mode. The MAT exam will be held on 27th and 28th August 2020. Candidates who have registered for the written exam can visit the official website to download MAT admit card 2020.
The MAT iBT August 2020 session will be held from August 27 to September 2, 2020. One should take a printout of the admit card and carry the same to the examination centre.

AIMA, which is also the organising body of MAT, has released the UGAT result 2020. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance test can check their result by entering the registered id and password. The UGAT result is available for admission to BBA and hospitality.
