The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), for admissions to MBA and equivalent programmes since 1988. From 2003 onwards Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test.
MAT is an objective test, designed to measure the candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment.
B-School, national and international management colleges can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the scorecards issued to the candidates. MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600+ B-Schools across India.
Center for Management Services (CMS) is the specialised division of AIMA undertaking testing and other management services. Since 1988, these testing services have been in operation under the trademark All India Management Aptitude Testing Services (AIMATS).
AIMATS has the unique distinction of being the first to be awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification for the range of services under its scope.
AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.
MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad.
The MAT May 2019 registration has already started from March 07, 2019. The exam is going to be held for PBT on May 05 2019, and for CBT on May 18, 2019.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has opened the window for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) September 2019 exam. The application window opened for both CBT and PBT. The registration window will be live for CBT until September 8. However, the last date to submit applications for MAT PBT is August 25, 2019.
The application fee for PBT and CBT is Rs 1550. Candidates who are aiming to take MAT in both PBT and CBT is Rs 2650. The MAT PBT test will take place on September 1 and MAT CBT will be held on September 14, 2019. The admit cards will be released at least a week before the exam.
MAT entrance test is conducted for admission to management courses in the participating institutes. The exam will be held four times a year in the months of February, May, September and December.20 June 2019

Earlier, the organiser has released exam dates for the MAT Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Paper Based Test (PBT). The online registration for MAT Sep 2019 to both CBT and PBT will start from June 17, onwards. The last date to apply online for MAT PBT is August 25, 2019. The MAT PBT will be held on September 2, 2019. However, MAT CBT exam will be conducted on September 15, 2019. Candidates should note that the test cities will be different for both CBT and PBT. The MAT result will be released in the September/October.3 June 2019

The MAT exam is conducted in both online and offline modes. Earlier, the organising body had also released the admit cards for the paper-based test. Candidates should download the admit card only from the official website and take a printout of the same. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without the admit card.
