MAT Exam Important Dates

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to MBA and PGDM programs at top B-Schools across India.

Introduced in 1988, MAT has served as a standardized platform for business schools to evaluate candidates to management courses. In 2003, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, officially recognized MAT as a national-level test. The MAT Exam is conducted in four cycles each year - February, May, September and December through multiple test modes.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Exam dates for May, 2025 has been announced. Candidates with graduation degree or those in final year of bachelor's degree programme can apply for MAT Exam. MAT PBT will be held on 31 May, 2025 and MAT CBT will be held on 08 June, 2025.The All India Management Association (AIMA) has commenced the registration process for the MAT May 2025 Session. Candidates can choose between the Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT). The MAT May 2025 Application windown is open from 25 April to 25 May, 2025. for PBT, and CBT registration from 25 April to 02 Jun, 2025.. Candidates can register for the exam mode of their choice on the official website - mat.aima.in.

Take MAT from your home AIMA introduces Remote Proctored Internet Based Mode (IBT) for MAT. Now instead of going to a test centre candidates could appear for MAT from their homes.
