The Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) is the All India Level Entrance Examination conducted for admission to JNU. The final selection of the candidates will be based upon the performance in the computer-based test for all programmes of study, except M.Phil. and Ph.D. Candidates should appear for the Viva-voce for selection in M.Phil. and Ph.D.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University has been conducting the Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (CEEB) on behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT). The test is conducted for 54 participating universities for admitting students to four Masters Programmes in Biotechnology.
MHRD has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained testing organisation. NTA has been vested with the authority to conduct the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) and Combined Entrance Examination Biotechnology (CEEB) from 2019 onwards. The Agency has changed the JNUEE exam title to Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Test (JNUET).

The NTA will release the JNUEE notification on March 2, 2020. Interested candidates are advised to visit the official site to explore the JNUET 2020 notification. The JNUEE 2020 information bulletin contains all the important details such as registration process, eligibility, exam date, application fee, syllabus, etc. JNU admission notification is also important for aspirants to understand the exam pattern and selection process.
Interested candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions set by NTA should start registering for the exam through the official website. The JNUEE registration 2020 window will be available between March 2 and 31. The JNUEE and CEEB application form steps are below.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the online written examination. Aspirants should appear for the computer-based test that consists of multiple-choice questions. The duration of the JNUEE exam is 3 hours. The maximum marks is 100.
The NTA will release the answer keys of the written exam on the official website. It will also provide an option to challenge the answer keys. Candidates should pay Rs 1000/- per question as processing charges. NTA will release the final answer key and results will be based on it.
The NTA has extended the last date for JNUEE 2020 examination. Candidates can register online for the JNUEE examination till June 15, 2020. Interested candidates who want to register for the examination can visit the official website to apply online.
The Agency has further extended the last date to register due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The submission of online application forms shall be accepted up to 5:00 pm and submission of fee up to 11:50 pm.

The NTA has issued a notice regarding the extension of JNUEE 2020 last date. Candidates who have not yet registered for the examination can now apply online through the official website until May 31, 2020. The online application can be accepted up to 5 PM and submission of fee up to 11:50 PM.

The official notice reads, "In view of the hardships faced by the parents and the students due to COVID-19 epidemic, the National Testing Agency has extended/ revised the dates of submission of Online Application Forms for various Examinations."
