The Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) is the All India Level Entrance Examination conducted for admission to JNU. The final selection of the candidates will be based upon the performance in the computer-based test for all programmes of study, except M.Phil. and Ph.D. Candidates should appear for the Viva-voce for selection in M.Phil. and Ph.D.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University has been conducting the Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (CEEB) on behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT). The test is conducted for 54 participating universities for admitting students to four Masters Programmes in Biotechnology.
MHRD has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained testing organisation. NTA has been vested with the authority to conduct the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) and Combined Entrance Examination Biotechnology (CEEB) from 2019 onwards. The Agency has changed the JNUEE exam title to Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Test (JNUET).

The NTA has released an important notice regarding common/single question paper for M.Phil and PhD.
The notice reads, "There will be a common/single question paper for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in the same field of study (provided intake is there in both the programme for JNUEE). The entrance examination shall be conducted for both the programmes in same filed on the same date and time, as per the schedule given in the Information Bulletin. If any candidate intends to apply for these two Programmes of study i.e. M.Phil. and Ph.D. in the same filed, candidate can apply for both the programmes and has to appear only in one common test and attempt the relevant question paper (in the same field). The marks obtained by the candidate shall be considered for both the programmes, if opted for both."

The NTA will release the JNUEE notification on March 2, 2020. Interested candidates are advised to visit the official site to explore the JNUET 2020 notification. The JNUEE 2020 information bulletin contains all the important details such as registration process, eligibility, exam date, application fee, syllabus, etc. JNU admission notification is also important for aspirants to understand the exam pattern and selection process.
Interested candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions set by NTA should start registering for the exam through the official website. The JNUEE registration 2020 window will be available between March 2 and 31. The JNUEE and CEEB application form steps are below.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the online written examination. Aspirants should appear for the computer-based test that consists of multiple-choice questions. The duration of the JNUEE exam is 3 hours. The maximum marks is 100.
The NTA will release the answer keys of the written exam on the official website. It will also provide an option to challenge the answer keys. Candidates should pay Rs 1000/- per question as processing charges. NTA will release the final answer key and results will be based on it.
The NTA has released an important notice regarding JNUEE 2020. For admission to MPhil or PhD in the same field of study at Jawaharlal Nehru University, there will be one common or single question paper in the entrance examination. Aspirants applying for either programme - or both - will have to write the same exam.

The NTA has started accepting the changes in the particulars, choice of centre cities, photograph and signature in the online application form for Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) 2020. The exam dates will be released soon.
The Agency has extended the correction facility of online application form until July 20, 2020. Candidates have to pay the additional fee amount for changes. It is advised to visit the official website to check the details.17 July 2020

The NTA has extended the application deadline for JNUEE 2020 exam. As per the official notice. NTA extended the application deadline from June 15 to 30, 2020. Interested candidates who have not yet registered for the exam can visit the official website to apply online. The submission of online application forms shall be accepted up to 5 PM and submission of fee up to 11.50 PM.
The Agency has also extended the last date for several exams including CSIR exam, UGC NET, ICAR AIEEA and AIAPGET. It has extended the dates due to COVID 19 pandemic.16 June 2020
