The organising body of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, National Testing Agency (NTA), will be releasing the admit card only in an online mode. Without a valid JEE Main admit card, candidates cannot take the entrance test.
Candidates who have registered for the examination can download the JEE Main admit card from the official website of NTA. The applicants have to produce their login details, such as application number, password and security pin to download the JEE Main admit card. Candidates are advised to go through the details meticulously in the JEE Main admit card. In case of any discrepancies, candidates are advised to contact the respective authorities immediately to rectify the mistake.
The JEE Main admit card is issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility terms & conditions. The candidates have to download his/her admit card from the NTA's website and appear for the examination at the allotted centre on the date and shift as indicated in their admit card.
The registered candidates have to note that JEE Main admit cards will not be sent through the post. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre on the date and shift other than that allotted to him/her in their JEE Main admit card.
The NTA has released the JEE Main admit card 2020 on August 17. The exam will be held in online mode at 605 centres for B.Tech/B.E and 489 centres for B.Arch and B.Planning located in 224 cities in the country and 8 cities abroad.
The official notice reads, "The Admit Card, this time, has four pages including the “Important Instructions for Candidates” given on Page-2 and “Advisory for Candidates regarding COVID-19” on Pages 3 and 4. Candidates are advised to download all the four pages and read them very carefully in view of the prevailing situation of COVID-19."
The NTA will release the JEE Main (January and April) admit card. The registered candidates can visit the official website of JEE Main to download the admit card. The admit card will be available to those whose applications are successfully submitted.
