The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi issued a notice to the aspirants of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2017 that they can download the admit card from the official website of JEE Main.
All the registered candidates for the said examination, whose application status is shown "Received", on the website are advised to download their admit card.They are further advised to verify their particulars, photo, signature etc. on the admit card. In case of any discrepancy, a mail may be sent to E-mail ID email@example.com.
The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2017 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. Now, AIEEE will be known as JEE (Main) and IIT - JEE as JEE (Advanced).
For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit/rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weight age to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weight age to JEE(Main).
JEE Main 2017 offline exam was held offline on April 2, 2017. The online exam was conducted on April 8 and 9, 2017. JEE Main 2017 exam results were declared on April 27, 2017.
