What is AIBE Exam?

The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The BCI conducts the exam to assess the candidate’s capability to practice the profession of law in the country. The written test aims to assess the candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding of basic knowledge of the law. Candidates who stand out in the AIBE exam will be awarded a "Certificate of Practice."

AIBE 16 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates who have passed in 3 years or 5 years LL.B. degree from a BCI recognized law school will be eligible to apply online for the AIBE exam. There is no minimum or maximum age limit. One should also enrol with their respective State Bar Council to register for the exam. 

AIBE Registration 2021 

Interested candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions will be allowed to apply online for the AIBE exam through the official portal It is mandatory to enrol with their state bar council before kick-starting the AIBE registration 2021. Aspirants should pay Rs 3560 as the registration fee to submit the application fee.
