Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) is held by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The engineering entrance exam is conducted every year for admissions into its 4 years B.Tech degree. The courses offered in its campuses in Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore. The AEEE is conducted at more than 90 centres spread across the country.

A candidate should have completed their 10+2/ intermediate or equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. One should not get lower than 55% marks in each of these subjects. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 board exams in March/ April are also eligible to apply for the examination.
Interested candidates can submit their online application via the official website amrita.edu/btech. Candidates need to complete the sections such as personal profile and academic profile in order to submit the application form.
While choosing the mode of admission, candidates need to opt either AEEE 2019 or JEE Mains. If you are opting for AEEE 2019, fill in the details of examination centre, date and slot. If you want admission through JEE Main, enter the details as in JEE scorecard.
Candidates who are seeking admission through AEEE 2019 should pay INR 1000 as application fee. However, the application fee for candidates seeking admission based on the rank scored in JEE Main is INR 300. Candidates should pay INR 1000 if they want to try to secure admission through both AEEE and JEE rank.
The entrance exam for engineering courses is conducted in two modes, namely, computer-based test (CBT) and pen & paper test (PPT). The computer-based exam will be conducted for 5 days with 3 slots on each day. However, pen & paper test (PPT) will be conducted only in Tamil Nadu, one slot on one day.
The AEEE consists of 100 questions with 3 marks each. The duration of the examination is 2 hours 30 minutes. The question paper will be of multiple choice questions format. It tests the candidate's knowledge of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted as negative marking.
The hall ticket/admit cards for AEEE 2019 will be released in the first week of April. Candidates who opted for the computer-based test can download the AEEE admit card after the slot booking process. Candidates who registered for the pen and paper test can download their admit card by simply submitting the application number and date of birth on the official website.
Amrita School of Engineering, a part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has developed an online practise test for JEE and AEEE aspirants. According to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, the JEE conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) is going fully online from 2019, and here the candidates should be good at the computer-based test (CBT).
The School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, is hosting a free testing platform for aspirants to get acquainted with the CBT. The school will schedule the tests periodically and intimate candidates through an email and SMS. After the test, candidates will know the score in each subject so that they can start preparing accordingly. Candidates should understand that the questions for each test may vary as the questions are selected by the software from a pool.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, a multi-campus and multi-disciplinary research academia, is all set to kick-start their online registration for Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) 2019. Candidates who are seeking admission to various engineering courses offered at Amrita campuses at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore can register for the AEEE between October 19, 2018, and April 25, 2019.
The institute had made changes in the admission process from 2019. Aspirants can apply to various undergraduate engineering courses through JEE Main score. Candidates who are applying through JEE Main 2019 score are exempted from appearing in AEEE 2019. However, candidates opting through JEE Main should fill-in the application form before the prescribed deadline.
The online exam for AEEE will be held at more than 90 centres spread across the country between April 22 to 26, 2019 in 3 different slots per day.
