Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET) 2025, is a state level entrance exam conducted for admission into MBA and MCA postgraduates programs in universities and affiliated colleges across Telangana.
Admission to management programs in Telangana's educational institutions is exclusively granted through TG ICET 2025. Candidates must carefully verify their eligibility before applying, as failure to meet the critieria will result in disqualification from the exam and further admission process.
The eligibility criteria for TG ICET 2025 include minimum educational qualifications, age limit, and other conditions as set by Kakatiya University. Candidates aspiring for MBA or MCA admissions must fulfill these requirements before submitting their applications.
Candidate may apply to the TG ICET 2025 at any age.
The candidate seeking admission into postgraduate courses must fulfil the following criteria:
1. The candidates should be an Indian National and should satisfy local / non-local status requirements as laid down in G.O. Ms No. 25, dated: 19:03.2004; G.O. Ms.No. 108 dated 30-07-2005; G.O. Ms. No. 66, dated 15-7-2011, G.O.Ms. No.5, dated 2-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.7., dated 5-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No. 33 dated 31-12-2014 and it amendments and G.O.Ms. No. 22, dated 27.07.2019 of Higher Education Department of Telangana and its amendments from time to time.
2. The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned uner vogue.
3. The candidate should satisfy Local / Unreserved status requirements as specified in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended, read with G.O. Ms. No. 15, Higher Education (TE) Department, Dated 27-02.2025.
4. The candidates who have passed any bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
4. The Eligibility Criteria for admission into MBA and MCA Programmes:-
a. Master of Business Administration (MBA) : Should have passed a recognized Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com / B.Sc. / BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy and any 3 or 4 year degree except Oriental Languages) examinations of minimum three years duration with atleast 50 per cent marks (45 per cent marks in case of reserved categories of SC, ST and OBC) in the qualyfing examinations.
b. Master of Computer Applications (MCA): Should have passed a recognized Bachelor's Degree (BCA / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or its equivalent degree / B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A) examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent marks in case of reserved categories of SC, ST, and OBC) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level.
c. The qualifying degree obtained by the Distance Mode Program / Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC / DEB S per UGC Regulations of 2013 and 2020.
5. The eligibility criteria for admission into MBA and MCA Programme is per cent marks for unreserved and per cent marks for reserved categories (SC, ST, and BC) at the qualifying examination. Candidates shall fulfil the eligibility criteria as laid down in relevant GOs at the time of admission.
6. The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25 per cent (i.e. 50 marks out of total of 200 marks). However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.
7. Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA / MCA Course unless the candidate.
i. Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time/evening/distance mode).
iii. Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.
Candidates must be Indian Nationals in order to complete the application form. They must also meet the local and non-local standards outlined in the Telanagana State Educational Institutions (Regular of Admission) Order.
Candidates may apply for TS ICET 2025 if they are citizen of India.
International applicants are welcome to submit as well. Before registering the TG ICET exam, these applicants must, nevertheless, meet the qualifying requirements unique to the Institution.
NOTE:
1. International students must meet their needs in accordance with the requirements if the individual university.
2. Candidates in their final year will be permitted to take the TG ICET 2025.
3. The Statutory Bodies' recognition and affiliation with the college will determine admission to any college in the state of Telangana.
4. In TS ICET, qualifying marks will probably account for 25% of the overall score, and applicants from SC & ST will not be required to receive a minimum score.
