NATA Exam Important Dates

The Council of Architecture (CoA) conducts a national level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture.

This test should not be combined with the tests for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine and other disciplines. The Council of Architecture (CoA) has not released the detailed schedule for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2025.

The NATA also ensures that the eligibility criteria for admission to five years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course, as prescribed by CoA and duly approved by the Central Government, are strictly adhered to and followed all over the country in Architectural Institutions.

NATA 2025 Exam will be administered by CoA Starting on 01 March, 2025 Onwards till June, 2025. There will be two sessions for the test on all Saturdays and Sundays. NATA 2025 will take place in several stages as an Offline, Computer-Based Exam. NATA 2025 will be administered in many locations using a computer-based. offline format.

The candidates can appear for maximum of 3 attempts in NATA 2025 in one academic year. Examination shall be conducted on all weekends starting from March to June, 2025 in two sessions, subject to number of candidates registered for the session. The candidates need to indicate their presence of session & city of examination while registering at nata.in.

The session during which the candidate will take the test as well as the test centres, shall be allotted by the Council, as far as possible, on the basis of cities and sessions preferred by the candidate in the application form.

The Test shall be conducted as per the schedule as given below:

Procedure for Conduct of Examination

The candidates will have to follow the time schedule as follows:

1.

Report to the Examination Center by 9.00 AM (First Session) / 12.30 PM (Second Session)

2. Opening gate to the examination hall at 9.15 AM (First Session) / 12.45 PM (Second Session)

3. Registration of candidate to be completed by 9.45 AM (First Session) / 1.15 PM (Second Session)

4. Closing gate to the examination hall at 10.00 AM (First Session) / 1.30 PM (Second Session)

5. Commencement of examination at 10.00 AM (First Session) / 1.30 PM (Second Session)

6. Duration of examination : 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM (First Session) / 1.30 PM to 4.30 PM (Second Session)

Late entry of candidates will not be permitted in the examination hall after 10.15 AM (First Session) / 1.45 PM (Second Session) and no extra time shall be granted. Exit from the examination centre shall not be allowed beefore 1.00 PM (First Session) / 4.30 PM (Second Session)
