KCET Selection Procedure

The Karnataka Examinations Authority will begin KCET 2025 counselling online at the official website.

Applicants must first register for KCET counselling 2025 at kea.kar.nic.in. The KCET 2025 counselling procedure includes document verification, option entry, seat allotment, and payment of the admission cost. Applicants who have been declared quaified based on their scores will be able to participate in the KCET couselling process in 2025.

Following successful registration, applicants must complete the KCET option entry with selected college and course choices. The KCET mock allotment 2025 will be released first on the KEA website. Candidates will be able to amend their preferences after the mock allotment is announced. After candidates' final option locking, KCET seat allotment 2025 will be revealed. Candidates must attend the counselling centre and have their documents validated in the first step of KCET 2025 counselling.

Following document verification, candidates will be able to fill out their college and course options.

The KCET Counselling seat allotment process will be carried out by KEA, taking into account the rank of the selected candidates, seat availability, college and course preferences, and so on.

Class 10 / SSLC Mark Sheet & Certificate.

Class 12 / 2nd PUC Mark Sheet & Certificate.

7 years study certificate sountersigned by the concerned BEO / DDPI.

Recent passport size photograph (two copies).

Income Certificate, Rural Study Certificate, Caste Certificate. Kannada Medium Certificate (Candidates who have studied in Kannada Medium from Class 1 to 10 in Karnataka and also outside the state.

Parent's study certificate / Parents' Hometown certificate / parent's Domicile Certificate / Parent's Employment Certificate / Parent's Cumulative.

Record / Parent's Marks Card, etc; for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile / study / employment of the parent.

Identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate / Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.

KCET Registration and Document Verification

Candidates must arrives at the KCET Counselling location with all required documentation. Applicants must bring the required documents in their original form, as well as two sets of photocopies. All documents will be reviewed by the appropriate authority. If all of the documents are confirmed to be correct, the candidate will be given a slip with a unique ID and password.

KCET Choice Filling & Locking 2025

Following KCET document verification, candidates must login to their account using a unique id and password. Following that, candidates must indicate their college and course preferences. At the time of selection, a candidate must be able to view the seat matrix by course, category, and college. Candidates are recommended to carefully select their selections. However, an applicant can change, add, or eliminate options in each round of KCET 2025 counselling.

KCET Seat Allotment 2025

The KCET 2025 Seat allotment result will be available on the official website. To download the KCET Seat allotment letter, candidates must first log in to their accounts. The KCET 2024 seat assignment letter includes information such as Allotted College, Reporting Date, and so on.

Reporting to the Allotted College

To confirm admission, candidates must report to the designated college on the specified date and time. Candidates should bring the additional relevant documents, as well as the KCET Counselling allotment letter, to the college for verification.

KCET Seat Matrix 2025

The Karnataka Examinations Authority will publish the KCET 2025 seat matrix on its website. Following each round of counselling, the KCET 2025 Seat matrix will be revealed independently.

KCET Result 2025

The Karnataka Examinations Authority will publish the KCET 2025 results on its website. Applicants who took the exam will be able to get their KCET Results using their registration number and the first four characters of their name. Candidates who have been declared qualified will be able to engage in the counselling process. Applicants are recommended to keep their KCET result scorecard 2025 safe until the admission procedure is completed.

Procedure of KCET 2025 Counselling

The following is the procedure for KCET 2025 Counselling:

Step 1 - Document Verification and Registration : All qualified candidates must have their documents verified at designated locations.

The following documents are required.

Score card of SSLC / 10th Standard.

Scorecard of 2nd PUC / 12th Standard.

Two recent passport size photographs.

Study Certificate Countersigned by the concerned BEO / DDPI.

Any other required documents.

List of Documents required for KCET Counselling 2025

Caste / Caste Income Certificate.

Kannada Medium Certificate. Income Certificate. Rural Study Certificate.

Parent's study certificate / Hometown Certificate / Domicile Certificate / Employment Certificate / Cumulative Record / Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the Parent's domicile / study / employment.

Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanady and Gadinadu Kannadiga Clausese C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue).

Candidates will be assigned a unique ID and password after verification. KEA will keep one set of photocopies of all documents, and the originals will be returned to the candidates. In addition, candidates will be fiven an acknowledgment card and a verification slip.

Step 2 - Filling in and Locking Choices: Verified candidates must log in using their KCET number fo fill up their desired courses and colleges in the order of preference. Candidates may add, rearrange, or change their selections before the deadline. Candidates will be able to view the seat matrix by course, category, and college, which will be released by the authorities. After the options have been locked, no changes will be accepted.

Step 3 - Seat Allotment: Once the selection procedure is completed, the authorities will disclose the KCET 2025 Mock seat allotment outcome. Candidates can determine their admission prospects based on their merit and selected seats. By connecting in with their CET number, candidates can amend their choices and checl their allotment status online. KCET 2025 counselling will include two rounds of allotment, as well as a second extended round and a special round.

The candidates must download and print the provisional allotment letter.

Step 4 - Reporting to Alloted Institutes: Selected students must present to their respective allotted institutes to confirm their admission before the KCET document verification deadline of 2025. When reporting to the institute, candidates must bring their documentation, the allotment letter, and the KCET counselling costs.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance (marks obtained) in the Karnataka CET. Seats will be allotted in the centralized counselling, in which candidates can choose seats based on the ranks obtained in the entrance exam.
