How to Apply For JEE Advanced

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will start the JEE Advanced 2025 Registration process offline from 23 April, 2025 and it close on 02 May, 2025.

The JEE Regisration payment windown will close on 06 May, 2025. The registration link for JEE Advanced 2025 will be updated online at jeeadv.ac.in by the authority. Candidates who are interested & eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam must fill out the IIT JEE Advanced 2025 application form online. Before filling for the JEE Advanced 2025 application form, students must ensure that they meet the eligiblity requirements. Candidates who pass the IIT JEE Main exam and are among the top 2,50,000 will be eligible to fill out the JEE Advanced application form. The IIT JEE Advanced form-filling process consists of registering, uploading documents, and paying the application cost. Applicants must ensure that they register before the deadline. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be held on 18 May, 2025 by the authority.

Who is Eligible for JEE Advanced?

Applicants must pass the 10+2 with a minimum of 75% (65% for SC / ST applicants) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025. Furthermore, they must qualify for the JEE Main and rank in the top 2,50,000 candidates. Students who meet these requirements will be permitted to take the JEE Advanced 2025.

Eligibility for Foreign Candidates / OCI / PIO Candidates:

OCI and foreign candidates.

PIO Aspirants must complete 10+2 education and do not need to take the JEE Main Exam. Such aspirants may apply directly for JEE Advanced. Futhermore, International / OCI / PIO candidates must meet additional standards.

How to Fill the JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form?

The JEE Advanced registration link on the official website will be updated by the authority. Candidates who meet the JEE Advanced eligibility requirements can apply online. Candidates must use their JEE Main Login credentials to access the JEE Advanced registration platform. Furthermore, the JEE Advanced registration money will be taken both online and offline. While filling out the applications. candidates had to select their chosen JEE Advanced Exam centres. The following are the stages involved in JEE Advanced registration.

Detailed Procedure to fill JEE Advanced Application Form 2025

Step 1: Complete the JEE Advanced Registration Form

Candidates must first register into the JEE Advanced 2025 registration portal using their JEE Main login ID and Password. Upon successful login, the screen displays all personal, academic, and contact information entered in the JEE Main 2025 application form.

Candidates will be able to give an entra phone number and email address. For the JEE Advanced exam, students had to input additional information such as examination city preference (eight options), Class XII (or equivalent) examination Roll No., and much more.

Candidates must generate a password for future access. When creating a password, the following instructions must be followrd:

The password should be between 8 and 13 letters long and contain one upper case alphabet, one lower case alphabet, one number value, and one special character such as!@#$^&*-

Candidates should not reveal or share their passwords with anyone. If desired, candidates can change their password after logging in.

Candidates should remember to check out at the end of their session so that unauthorized individuals cannot temper with or modify the information.

Step 2: Uploading documents.

The following step will require candidates to upload the papers specified by the relevant authorities. It should be noted that all papers must be uploaded in accordance with the specifications. The following documents are required for JEE Advanced registration.

GEN-EWS Candidates The certificate to be uploaded should have been issued on or after April 01, 2025 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. Candidates unable to get the Certificate accordingly may upload a declaration (Declaration in Lieu of GEN-EWS Certificate) to that effect
OBC-NCL Candidates The Certificate should have been issued on or after 01 April, 2025 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If any OBC-NCL candidate fails to collect the OBC-NCL Certificate (issued on or after April 01, 2025) before online JEE Advance registration, he / she may upload a declaration (Declaration in Lieu of OBC-NCL Certificate) to that effect. SC or ST Candidates Students must upload the caste certificate (for SC) or Tribe Certificate (ST) as per the latest guidelines of the Government of India
PwD Candidates Candidates under this category must upload the Physical Disability Certificate (FORM-PwD II/III/IV) whichever is applicable) issued by the notified medical authority
Dyslexic Candidates They need to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of FORM-PwD. The Certificate must mention 'SEVERE' Under Dyslexia category to enable to candidate to get the benefit of PwD Category
For Scribe Services Candidates needing the services of a scribe must send a request letter to the Chairman of the respective zonal coordinating IIT (FORM-SCRIBE)
DS Category Candidates They must upload the certificate (FORM-DS) issued by a competent authority in the Directorate of Resettlement and Rehabilitation, New Delhi under the Ministry of Defence or the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India
Foreign Candidates They should check the direct link at jeeadv.ac.in/foreign.php to know the documents they have to upload
Candidates whose Class XII Examination Board is outside India or is not listed in the examinations considered equivalent to Class 12 Must submit a certificate from the Association of India Universities to the effect that the examination quaified by the candidates is equivalent to the class 12 examination.

Step 3: Pay the JEE Advanced 2025 application fee: Finally, students must pay the application cost in either online or offline way to finish their JEE Advanced registration 2025.

How to apy JEE Advanced registration fee 2025 in online mode?

Candidates must click "Pay Registration Fee" after which the system will immediately redirect to the State Bank of India Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) Page. Candidates may choose any of the various choices, such as Debit Card / Credit Card / Interent Banking / E-Challan, based on their convenience.

After making a successful payment, candidates must print the "Registration Details" Page, which includes a unique JEE Advanced registration number.

How to pay the JEE Advanced 2025 Application fee in offline mode?

Candidates must click "Pay Registration Fee" to be redirected to the State Bank of India Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page to pay the JEE Advanced application fee in cash via SBI Branch Option.

In the case of cash payment, the candidate must choose "SBI Branch" and the system will generate the e-challan. Candidates must take a printout of the system-generated e-challan to an SBI Branch to make a cash payment.

Following payment, candidates must return to this page and download the "Registration Details" with a unique registration number.

Payment Procedure for SAARC and Non-SAARC Exam Centre Candidates

Candidates must submit their payment through the MOPS portal. Students must pay with international debit / credit cards issued by foreign banks. Following payment, the JEE Advanced 2025 registration data, including the unique number, must be printed.

JEE Advanced Application Form Corrections of mistakes

The JEE Advanced recitifcation window 2025 will not be opened by the authority. There is no facility for correcting any errors on the JEE Advanced 2025 application form. Candidates cannot amend the information they put on the JEE Advanced registration form once they have submitted it. As a result, students should double-check all of the information given in the JEE Advanced 2025 application form before submitting it.

The JEE Advanced admit card will be available on the official website. To download the JEE Advanced admit card, candidates must enter login information such as their registration number, date of birth, and mobile number.
