West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) was established in 1962 by the Government of West Bengal to conduct various Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) for admission to institutions spread across the state.
WBJEEB will conduct OMR Based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE-2024) for admission in the academic 2023-24 for Undergraduate Courses in Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of different Universities, Government College as well as Self-Financing Engineering / Technological Institutes in the State of West Bengal.
Candidates have to appear for both papers – Paper-I (Mathematics) and Paper-II (Physics & Chemistry-combined) for engineering and technology. One who appears only for Paper-II will get admission only in the pharmacy courses. Aspirants have to note that the architecture admissions will be provided through NATA and medical admissions will be made through NEET UG, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will conduct the WBJEE for entrance to the undergraduate courses in the field like engineering and pharmacy on 28 April, 2024 (Sunday). WBJEEB has announced the WBJEE Exam date on the official website - wbjeeb.in. Candidates who are attending for the WBJEE 2024 must have to meet the all the eligibility requirements set by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board in order to apply for the WBJEE 2024.
Candidate must be a citizen of India and should not be less than 17 years of age. There is no upper age limit for WBJEE. However, the upper age limit is 25 years for Marine Enigneering Course.
Application for WBJEE 2024 has to be done through online mode and there is no offline mode to register. The online registration for the WBJEE will be held till 31 January, 2024. Candidates need to have a working contact number and a valid email Id to register. All the future communications by the board will be sent to the respective contact number and email Id.

The WBJEE 2024 Application form deadline will be announced by WBJEEB on its official website - wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE 2024 application form will only be accessible online. Before completing the application form, candidates must confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements. Input your name, date of birth, father's name, mobile number, and other pertinent information.
Upon successful registration, the login credentials will be emailed to the registered email address.
Enter your credentials to login and complete the application.
Enter the details, such as eligibility, course, city and correspoindence.
Upload the files in the format that has been requested.
The online application fee can be paid offline or online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking account.
The WBJEE application fee can be paid either in cashless mode by Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card or UPI Only.
Allocation of the examination centre will be based on the choices given by the candidate during the online form fill-up. However, the discretion of the Board in the allocation of the examination centre shall be final.
No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under any circumstances.

Do not wait for the last day to pay registration fees to avoid payment failure by bank.
The authorities will give candidates one more opportunity to alter their WBJEE application form after the application procedure is finished. The WBJEE 2024 Application form correction facility will be available online by the authorities. Until the designated time, candidates may make changes to their application forms. All fields on the application form will be editable by the candidates, with the exception of name, mother's, father's and birthdate.

A total of 10% of seats are reserved for students' merit list in JEE Main in all the Self-Financed Engineering & Technology Colleges of West Bengal. Candidates should note that the allotment will be purely based on the merit and preference of students through counselling conducted by WBJEEB.
Aspirants should know the paper pattern of the exam to crack. The exam pattern will provide all the key details, such as duration, number of questions, sections, etc. WBJEE is an offline exam that comprises multiple-choice questions. There will be two papers in WBJEE - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry combine). Candidates who appear only for Paper I will not get any rank.
All questions will be in Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), with four options against each question.
There will be three categories of questions in each subject. The number of questions as well as maximum marks for each are given in the following table:

Note: Any examination zone may be dropped in unavoidable circumstances. Discretion of the board shall be final in this regard.
The organising board, WBJEEB, will release the WBJEE answer key within a month after conducting the exam. The WBJEE answer key will be available only on the official website. The board will also accept the challenges against the final answer key. Candidates need to pay INR 500 per question plus the bank's service charges.
The WBJEEB will announce the WBJEE result in May 2024 (Tentative). The results will be available in the form of a rank card. One should enter their login ID and password to check the WBJEE 2024 result. Candidates will find all the details about the score and paper in their rank card.
