National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) is a competitive entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
NBE was established in 1975 and it is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. NBE was established as a Society under Delhi Society registration act, to standardizing postgraduate medical education and examination in India.
It is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various Post Graduate MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948.
NEET-MDS is a single window entrance examination for Dental PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to PG MDS Courses as per Dentists Act, 1948.
NEET-MDS 2020 shall be a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to Postgraduate Dental Courses for the academic session 2020 which will include the following:
Registration and submission of application form for appearing in the NEET-MDS 2020 are to be undertaken online at the website www.nbe.edu.in. Application forms cannot be submitted in the offline/printed copy by post.
The following Dental institution is not covered by centralized admissions for MDS seats through NEET-MDS for 2020 session:
PG seats of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to be included in 50% All India Quota Seats 2019 subject to confirmation by the respective State Governments to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
The online registration will start from 11th October 2019 from 3:00 PM Onwards. Online registration and submission of the application form must be completed by 31 October, 2019.

A candidate has to choose the city in which he/she wants to take the test. Therefore, the choice of the city will depend on the availability of the test centre in a particular city and the allotment shall be done on first come first serve basis.
The National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the NEET MDS result 2020 on January 15. Candidates who have appeared for the written examination on December 20 can check their results on the official site.
Candidates can check their roll number in pdf through the search option. The result also displays the score out of 960 and rank. Check the complete overall merit position of the candidates amongst all the candidates who have appeared in the NEET MDS 2020.
The minimum cut-off score for general category out of 960 is 286. It is 250 for SC/ST/OBC and 268 for UR-PWD. Individual scorecard of the candidates will be available from January 18, 2020, onwards.16 January 2020
The NBE has released the admit card for NEET MDS 2020 examination. Candidates who have registered for the NEET MDS 2020 can visit the official website to download the admit card.
Candidates should use their login ID and password to download NEET MDS admit card 2020. One should carry the hard copy of NEET MDS to the examination centre. Test takers should also carry a valid photo identity card for verification purpose.
The Board will be conducting the NEET MDS exam on December 20. NBE is likely to announce the NEET MDS exam result by January 20, 2020.14 December 2019
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has activated the mock test link of NEET MDS 2020 exam. The mock test is available on the official website of NEET MDS. Candidates who are appearing for the NEET MDS exam can access the mock test.
NEET MDS 2020 mock test was released to make candidates familiar with the examination. It contains 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from the curriculum of the BDS course. The duration of the test is 20 minutes.
The NEET MDS 2020 exam will be held on December 20, 2019. The exam will be held in online mode. The qualified candidates can seek admission to the MDS course offered by the various institutions and universities across the country.13 December 2019
The National Board of Education (NBE) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) 2020 exam dates. The official notification was released by NBE regarding the same. The NEET MDS will be conducted on December 20, 2019. The exam will be held in online mode.
NBE official notification reads, “NBE shall be conducting the computer-based examinations in the month of December 2019 & January 2020.” It also added, “Further details like Information Bulletin and schedule of online registration for the aforementioned examinations shall be available on NBE website https://nbe.edu.in/ in due course.”
NBE has also released exam dates of NEET PG (Post Graduate), FMGE and PDCET along with NEET MDS 2020. The NEET PG will be held on January 5, 2020.17 September 2019
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), which will be conducting the allotment process and counselling for NEET MDS, has released the 2019 counselling schedule. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds. Candidates can start the registration/payment from March 15 in the round one counselling. The result will be declared on Marc 27, 2019.
Candidates can also participate in the second round of counselling after the conclusion of round one. The entire counselling process for NEET MDS will be completed by April 22, 2019. Thereafter, the vacant/non-joining and non-reporting seats will be transferred to state government.
