National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) is a competitive entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
NBE was established in 1975 and it is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. NBE was established as a Society under Delhi Society registration act, to standardizing postgraduate medical education and examination in India.
It is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various Post Graduate MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948.
NEET-MDS is a single window entrance examination for Dental PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to PG MDS Courses as per Dentists Act, 1948.
NEET-MDS 2021 shall be a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to Postgraduate Dental Courses for the academic session 2021 which will include the following:

Registration and submission of application form for appearing in the NEET-MDS 2021 are to be undertaken online at the website www.nbe.edu.in. Application forms cannot be submitted in the offline/printed copy by post.
The following Dental institution is not covered by centralized admissions for MDS seats through NEET-MDS for 2021 session:
PG seats of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to be included in 50% All India Quota Seats 2021 subject to confirmation by the respective State Governments to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
The online registration will start from 26th October 2020 from 5:00 PM Onwards. Online registration and submission of the application form must be completed by 15th November, 2020.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the NEET MDS 2021 admit card. Candidates who have registered for the entrance exam can download NEET MDS 2021 exam with their login credentials on the official website at nbe.edu.in.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the provisional exam dates of various exams. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2021 will be held on December 16, 2020. Interested candidates who are aspiring for the exams can access the information bulletin available on the official website - nbe.edu.in.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET MDS 2020 counselling mop-up round result.
The notice reads, "It is for the information to all the candidates that the provisional result for Mop UP Round of Medical/Dental NEET PG Counselling 2020 is now available. Final result will be displayed after 2.00 PM on July 21, 2020. Any discrepancy in the result in terms o merit violation may be immediately informed to MCC of DGHS till 2 PM of July 21 through email on the Email ID - mccresultquery@gmail.com"
The sources suggest that a total of 1,166 candidates have been selected in the provisional mop-up round result. A total of 117 candidates are selected for deemed, and central MDS institutes.
