National Aptitude Test in Architecture Exam

NATA Admit Card

The Council of Architecture (CoA) conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) thrice this year in the months of June and July. This is the only entrance examination in the country conducted for admission to a bachelor degree in an architecture course. 

Candidates who have registered online for the NATA examination need to download the admit card to take the test. The NATA admit card will be issued only to those candidates whose applications are successfully submitted. One can download the NATA admit card from the official website. 

Aspirants are advised to hold the NATA admit card carefully till the admission procedure. If a candidate found that an applicant is ineligible, his/her candidature shall be cancelled even if he/she has appeared in NATA.

Step 4: Enter the login credentials such as application number and password. 

Step 5: Download the NATA admit card and take a printout. 

What Details To Check After Downloading NATA Admit Card? 

Once the NATA admit card was downloaded from the official website, candidates need to check the personal and examination details printed on it. The important details to check are given below.

Discrepancy In NATA Admit Card

How To Retrieve Forgot NATA Application Number/Password?

If candidates forget their application number/ password, they need to click on the ‘Forgot Password’ in the admit card page. The details to be submitted to retrieve the NATA admit card are given below.

Documents To Carry Along With NATA Admit Card 

Candidates will not be permitted to take the NATA examination with a valid admit card. Candidates need to download the NATA admit card and carry the same to the examination centre along with a photo identity card issued by the central or state government. Some of the accepted photo identity cards are: 

  • PAN card
  • Aadhaar card
  • Voter card
  • Passport
  • Driving license

NATA Test Day Schedule - Procedures to be followed in the Examination at Test Centres.

1. The candidates will have to follow the time schedule as follows :

Report to the exam centre 9.00 AM (1st Session) / 1.30 PM (2nd Session)
Opening gate to the examination hall 9.15 AM (1st Session) / 1.45 PM (2nd Session)
Registration of candidate to be completed by 9.45 AM (1st Session) / 2.15 PM (2nd Session)
Closing date to the examination hall 10.00 AM (1st Session) / 2.30 PM (2nd Session)
Commencement of examination 10.00 AM (1st Session) / 2:30 PM (2nd Session)
Duration of examination 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM (1st Session) / 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (2nd Session)

NATA Exam Instructions 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the NATA examination without admit card along with a valid identity card. 
  • Candidates who carry any textual material, printed or written papers will be debarred from the examination. 
  • Candidate cannot leave the examination hall until the duration of the test is over. 
  • All the electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches and Bluetooth are prohibited. 
  • Candidates need to submit a photograph and biometric at the examination centre. 

Late entry of candidates will not be permitted in the examination hall after 10.15 AM (1st Session) / 2.45 PM (Second Session) and no extra time shall be granted. Exit from the examination centre shall not be allowed before 1.00 PM (1st Session) / 5.30 PM (2nd Session).
