Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level common entrance test, conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
The entrance test is conducted to offer admission in various undergraduate courses in the colleges of Karnataka.
Candidates who are qualified in the KCET can take admissions in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc AgriBioTech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science &Tech), BSc (Agri Marketing & Co-Op) , BPharma, Pharma-D and 2nd year B.Pharma Lateral Entry course, in Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka.
KCET 2020 to be held on April 22, 23, 2020. For Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates the exam is going to be held on April 24, 2020.

NOTE : A candidate who had obtained a seat in any discipline through (KEA Cell) in any of the previous years and not surrendered the seat before the last date fixed for entre of options for final round of seat allotment for the respective disciplines will not eligible for allotment of a seat to the same discipline during 2020. However, he / she is eligible to appear for CET-2020 for allotment of seat in any other discipline as per rule 15 (5) of Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government seats in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the exam dates of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2020 examination. It has released an official notice regarding the CET 2020 exam.
According to the official notice, KCET 2020 examination will be conducted on April 22 and 23. The examination will be held in two shifts. However, the Kannada Language Test will be held on April 24, 2020.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the special round of KCET seat allotment result for KCET 2019 counselling. Candidates need to visit the official website (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in) to access the seat allotment result.
Aspirants should use their login details to check their result and allotment letter should be downloaded from the website. One should confirm their admission by paying the fee until August 22, 2019. The final date to report at colleges is August 23, 2019 (before 5:30 PM).
The authorities will be conducting one more counselling round for the remaining seats in Agriculture, Veterinary, B.Pharm, BNYS and other courses. The schedule for the counselling will be released soon on the official website.21 August 2019
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for the second extended round of KCET counselling 2019. The process of option entry began yesterday, July 31, 2019. Students can add, modify or delete the options as per their preference through the option entry. Candidates should surrender their allotted seat in the first or second round before accepting the allotment through the second extended round.
Candidates are advised to join the college if they are allotment a seat, otherwise, they will not be eligible for CET next year. Those who surrender their seats would be refunded the money they had paid save for a deduction of Rs 5,000.1 August 2019
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the CET first round allotment results today on the official website. The mock allotment result was released on June 27 and the first allotment result was released on June 30. The result was available on the official website – kea.kar.nic.in.
Candidates whose names are in the KCET allotment result will get admission to the colleges located in Karnataka state. The mock allotment process helps the students with indicative seat status. It will familiarize students with the concept and display the college and course allotted to them.

According to the sources, the KCET 2019 result will be available on the official website at 1 PM on May 25. The KEA has conducted the written exam on April 29 and 30, 2019. The result will be available on official websites such as kea.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in.
Aspirants should secure minimum 50% marks to qualify in the KCET exam. It is 40% in case of SC/ST Category. Candidates who qualify in the written examination can seek admission to engineering and technology courses.24 May 2019
