Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level common entrance test, conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
The entrance test is conducted to offer admission in various undergraduate courses in the colleges of Karnataka.
Candidates who are qualified in the KCET can take admissions in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc AgriBioTech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science &Tech), BSc (Agri Marketing & Co-Op) , BPharma, Pharma-D and 2nd year B.Pharma Lateral Entry course, in Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka.
KCET 2019 to be held on April 23, 24, 25, 2019. For Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates the exam is going to be held on April 25, 2019.
The Karnataka Examination Board (KEA) has started accepting the online application forms for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2019. Interested candidates who are aiming for admission to engineering, architecture, farm science courses, B.Pharma, etc. professional courses can apply till February 28, 2019.
The KCET 2019 examination will be conducted on April 23 and 24. The admit cards for the KCET 2019 examination will be available on the official website from April 16. To know more about the calendar of events for KCET, click here.
The examination will be conducted at 54 places across Karnataka. The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., 2nd PUC/12th Standard in 2019 whose result is awaited can also apply for KCET.
