What is KCET Exam?

Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level common entrance test, conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

The entrance test is conducted to offer admission in various undergraduate courses in the colleges of Karnataka.

Candidates who are qualified in the KCET can take admissions in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc AgriBioTech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science &Tech), BSc (Agri Marketing & Co-Op) , BPharma, Pharma-D and 2nd year B.Pharma Lateral Entry course, in Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka.

KCET 2021 has to be on July 07 & 08 2021. For Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates the exam is going to be held on July 09, 2021.

02 Last date to pay the application fee - Online (Tentative) 20.05.2021
03 Provision for corrections, if any (The candidates can change / modify the information furnished in the online application as per their eligibility only for fee paid certificates From 11:00 am on 19.05.2021 to 25.05.2021 up to 5.30 pm

NOTE : A candidate who had obtained a seat in any discipline through (KEA Cell) in any of the previous years and not surrendered the seat before the last date fixed for entre of options for final round of seat allotment for the respective disciplines will not eligible for allotment of a seat to the same discipline during 2021. However, he / she is eligible to appear for CET-2021 for allotment of seat in any other discipline as per rule 15 (5) of Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government seats in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006.

KCET Final Seat Allotment Result 2020 Declared

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the final seat allotment results to the students who are seeking admission to undergraduate engineering courses of the state. One can check the result at kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates should note that KCET 2020 result will be allotted as per the ranks obtained in the exam. Earlier, it has released the KCET seat allotment result for various rounds.

KCET 2020 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Declared

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the seat allotment result of KCET 2020 extended round 2 counselling. Candidates can check their seat allotment status online from the KCET website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

The extended round 2 counselling of KCET 2020 is the final round counselling. Candidates can pay the fees up to December 24. One can report to the allotted institute up to December 26 (5:30 PM).

KCET Counselling 2020 Second Round Seat Allotment Result Declared

The KEA has declared the KCET 2nd round seat allotment 2020 result. The registered candidates can visit the official website of KCET (kea.kar.nic.in) to check their allotment results. Candidates should use their Karnataka CET exam roll number to check the seat allotment. 


The exam authority is likely to release a detailed notification regarding how to exercise choices. In case candidates fail to exercise any of the choices within the stipulated time, the seat will be cancelled automatically.

KCET 2020 Seat Allotment Schedule Releases

KEA has released KCET Round 2 seat allotment schedule. KCET 2020 second round seat allotment is conducted for admission to Engineering, Agriculture, Architecture, Veterinary, Pharmacy, Naturopathy and Yoga, etc courses. 


The display of seat matrix will be December 11, 2020. The allotment result will be released on December 16. The last date for reporting to the colleges only by Choice 1 candidates is December 19, 2020.

KCET 2020 Mock Allotment Announced

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET mock test 2020 allotment results. One can check their results of KCET seat allotment 2020 at kea.kar.nic.in.

The sources suggest that one can change their options at the time of choice filling from November 29 to December 1. The mock seat allotment of KCET will allow students to know their probable chances of getting admission into their desired college.
