What is KCET Exam?

Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level common entrance test, conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

The entrance test is conducted to offer admission in various undergraduate courses in the colleges of Karnataka.

Candidates who are qualified in the KCET can take admissions in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc AgriBioTech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science &Tech), BSc (Agri Marketing & Co-Op) , BPharma, Pharma-D and 2nd year B.Pharma Lateral Entry course, in Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka.

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test has postponed. CET wil now be conducted on August 28 & 29, 2021 and Kannada Language test will be held on August 30, 2021.

CET 2021 Notification :

Due to Covid-19, KCET 2021 has allowed for registration & application form available online on the official website of the KEA FROM.

02 Last date to pay the application fee - Online 13.07.2021
03 Provision for corrections, if any (The candidates can change / modify the information furnished in the online application as per their eligibility only for fee paid certificates (Tentative From 11:00 am on 19.07.2021 to 22.07.2021 up to 5.30 pm

NOTE : A candidate who had obtained a seat in any discipline through (KEA Cell) in any of the previous years and not surrendered the seat before the last date fixed for entre of options for final round of seat allotment for the respective disciplines will not eligible for allotment of a seat to the same discipline during 2021. However, he / she is eligible to appear for CET-2021 for allotment of seat in any other discipline as per rule 15 (5) of Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government seats in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006.

KCET 2021: KEA Releases Document Verification Schedule

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for UGCET 2021 or KCET 2021 document verification. Candidates can complete the verification process between September 30 and November 28.


Candidates have to report to the nearest helpline or facilitation centre for registration and document verification. One should bring their KCET 2021 admission ticket and a valid photo ID for the verification process.

KCET Result 2021 Declared

Minister for Higher Education, Dr. Ashwathnarayan C. N. has declared the KCET results 2021. The KEA KCET result 2021 was declared today at 4 PM at  www.cetonline.karnataka.gov.in 2021/ kea.kar.nic.in results 2021.

Candidates need to enter their registration number and date of birth to check the KCET result 2021.

KCET Admit Card 2021 Released

The KEA has released KCET admit card 2021 on August 12. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download KCET admit card 2021 with their login credentials on the official portal - kea.kar.nic.in. 

The exam authority will be conducting the KCET 2021 exam on August 28 and 29 for admission to engineering, pharmacy and other UG courses.

KCET 2021 Correction Window To Reopen From August 2

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is likely to reopen the KCET 2021 correction window from August 2. Candidates can access the KCET correction 2021 facility on the official portal. One should also submit the special category documents from August 3, 2021. 

The KCET exam will be held on August 28 and 29. The admit card will b released in the first week of August 2021.

KCET 2021: Last Day To Register Online

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is all set to close the registration window of KCET application form 2021 today, i.e., July 16. Candidates who have not yet registered for the exam can apply online through the official website. 

The KCET application form correction will be available between July 19 and 22. The entrance exam will be held on August 28 and 29. The admit card will be released on August 13, 2021.
