Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level common entrance test, conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
The entrance test is conducted to offer admission in various undergraduate courses in the colleges of Karnataka.
Candidates who are qualified in the KCET can take admissions in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc AgriBioTech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science &Tech), BSc (Agri Marketing & Co-Op) , BPharma, Pharma-D and 2nd year B.Pharma Lateral Entry course, in Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka.
KCET 2019 to be held on April 23, 24, 25, 2019. For Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates the exam is going to be held on April 25, 2019.
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the admit card for Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019. Candidates who have registered for the examination can visit the official website to download the admit card.
Candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth to download the KCET admit card 2019. They need to take a printout of the KCET admit card and carry the same to the examination centre.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has changed the exam dates for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2019 due to the clash of Lok Sabha voting dates. The organising body has released an official notice regarding the change of exam dates. The KCET examinations will be held on April 29 and 30, 2019.
According to the official notice released by KEA, ''In view of the announcement of schedule of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 by Election Commission of India on March 10, 2019, Government of Karnataka has directed KEA to conduct the CET-2019 on April 29 and 30 and the Kannada Language Test on May 1 for the year 2019.''
KEA has recently extended the last date to apply online for KCET 2019. The last date to apply online for KCET is March 20, 2019. Candidates can also edit/correct their applications from March 21 to 25, 2019.13 March 2019
The Karnataka Examination Board (KEA) has started accepting the online application forms for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2019. Interested candidates who are aiming for admission to engineering, architecture, farm science courses, B.Pharma, etc. professional courses can apply till February 28, 2019.
