Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test Exam

The AP EAMCET (EAPCET) is organised by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory body of the government of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is Conducted by Jahawarlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur, on behalf of APSCHE.  The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada administers the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) entrance exam (AP EAMCET) for admission to a variety of professional courses offered in Andhra Pradesh's universities and private colleges.

AP EAMCET (Now it is Known as (AP EAPCET) is an entrance examination conducted for admissions into professional courses related to Pharmacy, Engineering, and Agriculture offered by various universities and colleges spread across the Andhra Pradesh State.

AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2025 Notification

AP EAPCET - Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test - 2025 (AP EAPCET 2025) of Andhr Pradesh will be conducted through Computer Based Test by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada for enty into first year of the profesional courses offered by the Academic year 2025-26 in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who wish to apply shall sumit their application through online mode only from 15-03-2025 onwards. The last date of submission of application without late fee is 24-04-2025. 

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the notification for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) 2025. Candidates who are interested can submit the application from 15 March, 2025 and the last date to apply without fee is on 24 April, 2025 on the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The AP EAMCET (AP EAPCET) 2025 exam will be conducted 19 to 27 May, 2025.

AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2025 Courses 

After the government decision that NTA is the only authorised body for conducting the medical entrance examination for admission to courses such as B.Tech, B.Pharm & Pharm-D, the AP EAPCET is allowed only to offer professional courses in agriculture and engineering. The courses are given below. 

AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2025 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for AP EAMCET, candidates need to meet all the eligibility criteria set by the organising authority, JNTU Kakinada. The eligibility criteria to appear for the examination is described below. 

• Indian nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders. 
• The candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. 
• Applicants should have completed 16 years of age as on December 31. For some courses, it is 17 years. However, there is no upper age limit. 
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics for engineering courses from a recognised Board/University. 
• The botany and zoology subjects in the place of mathematics are required for some professional courses. 

AP EAMCET (EAPCET) Application Process 

Annually, the registration for the examination will be held between 19 to 27 May, 2025.

Candidates need to apply online only through the official website. Here are the steps to apply online for AP EAMCET (EAPCET). 

Step 1: Visit the official website of AP EAMCET (EAPCET) – www.cets.apsche.ap.gov.in

Step 2: Pay the prescribed registration fee, i.e., INR 500 and late fee (if so). 

Step 3: Fill all the details in the online application form. 

Step 4: Prior to submitting the details, verify the same. 

Step 5: After submitting, the registration number will be generated. 

Step 6: Take a printout of the application form and submit the same to the invigilator during the examination. 

Step 7: One should affix a recent colour passport size photograph attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College.

Candidates should be ready with the following information details while submitting the online application form for AP EAMCET (AP EAPCET). 

• Hall ticket number of qualifying examination
• Hall ticket number of S.S.C. or equivalent
• Date of birth
• Caste in case of SC/ST/BC candidates
• Aadhar number 
• PH, NCC, Sports, etc.
• Income up to one lakh or up to two lakhs or more than two lakhs (rupees)

The organising institute, JNTU Kakinada, is responsible for issuing the AP EAMCET admit card or hall ticket for the examination.

AP EAMCET 2025 Admit Card will be released on 12 May, 2025. Candidates should carry the AP EAMCET admit card to the allotted exam centre. Check the steps to download the AP EAMCET admit card.
