Established in 1956 by an Act of Parliament as an autonomous institution of national importance. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi conducts AIIMS MBBS, DM/M.Ch, Fellowship Programme, MD/MS/M.Ch (6 Year), B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, SR/SD, PhD etc. exams for admissions to these courses. Through this entrance exam, students are eligible for the admissions to the following courses.
Candidates who are interested to attend this exam for the academic year 2019, applications are invited for registration in the prescribed form through online mode only for the Entrance Examination for admissions to all the courses at AIIMS, New Delhi and Eight other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) & Nagpur (Maharashtra).

The Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Dr Harsh Vardhan has announced that National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) will be the single national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS course in the country.
Dr Harsh Vardhan has confirmed that All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) MBBS entrance examinations were scrapped and admission for medical courses across the country will be based on NEET (Undergraduate) exam. The sources suggest that the Cabinet Minister made this statement as per the National Medical Commission Act.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi is responsible for releasing the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam results. Usually, AIIMS New Delhi will announce the AIIMS result within 15 days from the exam date. The result will be announced in the form of merit list and individual scores. The examination authority will publish the merit list separately based on roll number and rank-wise.
The AIIMS MBBS result contains the details such as the name of candidates, All India Rank (AIR), subject-wise percentile, category of students and overall percentile scores in the entrance examination. Candidates should note that the qualified candidates are only eligible to download the individual scorecard of AIIMS MBBS. The exam authority will follow the normalisation procedure to prepare the AIIMS result as the exam was conducted in two shifts per day. The examination authority will set the minimum cut-off score to qualify in the entrance exam. Aspirants have to secure the minimum qualifying percentage in order to stand in the merit list. Candidates who are included in AIIMS MBBS result are only eligible for the counselling procedure. The AIIMS MBBS counselling will be conducted in three rounds on the basis of merit rank. At the time of counselling, one should submit their preferences for institutes and courses. The admission will be granted based on the preferences. According to sources, over 1000 MBBS seats are offered in 15 AIIMS institutes spread across the country.
AIIMS has rescheduled the MBBS counselling from August 20-21 to August 26-27, 2019. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare tweeted the same regarding the rescheduling of counselling. The window for the online registration will close on August 21, 2019, at 5 PM.
The official notification reads, ''Considering the large number of candidates and guardians participating in the Open Round of Counselling (AIIMS-MBBS-2019), under the prevailing circumstances, it has been decided by the competent authority that for adequate arrangement and ensuring safety, the Open Round of Counselling has been rescheduled from 20th and 21st August to 26th and 27th August 2019. The online registration for Open Round of Counselling is reopened till 21st August 2019, 5.00 pm.''
The notice also reads, ''In case the seats are filled on the first day, there will be no counselling on the second day.''19 August 2019
The registration date extended for Open Round Seat Allocation for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS 2019 counselling process. Candidates can apply for the counselling process until August 16, 2019, till noon. Eligible candidates can visit the official website (aiimsexams.org) to register.
Earlier, the registration process for the counselling started on August 9, 2019. Students who gave scored minimum cut off are only eligible to apply for the counselling round. This round is conducted to fill up MBBS seats for August 2019 which remained vacant after the third round of counselling.
Candidates should note that the open round of seat allocation or counselling will be held on August 20, 2019, at Jawaharlal Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi. One should report along with registration slip at 8.30 AM at the venue.16 August 2019
AIIMS has started the admission process to MBBS based on the first allotment list. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round can visit the online seat allocation/counselling portal to accept or decline.
Candidates will have an option to accept the allotted seat and not to participate in further rounds of seat allocation as the first option. They can also participate in the further rounds of seat allocation. One can also decline/refuse the allotted seat and want to participate in the second round of seat allocation.
Students have to report to respective AIIMS by July 4 with a printed copy of the chosen option and complete the formalities as required.1 July 2019

The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has released the admit card for the MBBS entrance examination 2019. Students who have successfully completed the registration process can start downloading the AIIMS admit card from the official website.
Candidates should use their registration ID, RUC (Registration Unique Code) and password to access the AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019. The admit card will be available on the official website of AIIMS until the exam date.
